Loved the hotel, wonderful amenities, room was spacious, beautiful view, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. The area is beautiful, you're right next to the stoosbahn, the spa is a wonderful place of relaxation and the restaurant has excellent selections and salad buffet. Can't wait to return.

The room was very comfortable, much more comfortable than in other hotels in Switzerland , coffee machine that can also make tea , impressive mini bar, good quality toiletries, great breakfast, I can go on and on, it is absolutely worth its money. One of the most beautiful hotels in Switzerland - amidst the mountains, you will find the Swiss Holiday Park. They have 2 options - Hotel Rooms and Holiday Apartments. We took a holiday apartment and were really impressed by the quality. Large rooms, comfortable and with a lovely balcony. The bus station is named after the Hotel so you don’t have to worry about travel. There is a beautiful indoor and outdoor swimming pool and the staff is really helpful. The images match exactly with the rooms and it’s really very peaceful out here. 100% recommended for your stay. We stayed here for 2 nights, and via this place visited Mt. Titlis and Jungfraujoch and it wasn’t that difficult because this place was worth the extra travel for us.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated, and opening the window revealed a stunning lake view. The layout of the room was very practical, and the recently renovated facilities felt brand new. The breakfast offered unique and delightful options, and the dinner was equally distinctive with its local flavors. Highly recommended！

My friend and I love our stay at the hotel. The hotel located a top of a hill so we enjoyed the landscape view for the lake of Lucerne and the mountains. Our room was with lake view, the sun rise and sun set was breathtaking from our room. Amazing delicious breakfast. From the hotel there is a funicular that gets you straight to town. Friendly, helpful and always smiling staff :)))

This was my second time to come to Lucerne.

This was my second time to come to Lucerne. Loved it the first time but loved it even more the second time. The Christmas Market there has so much going on, it's not just food and shopping. There are traditional parades, characters, and music. It has so much more to see and experience than the one in Zurich. Also, there is lots to do in Lucerne besides the shopping. It was just a short walk to the train station and boat dock. We took the boat and then a train up to Riji - Queen of the Mountains. Breathtakingly beautiful. There is a hotel, spa and places to eat at the top of the mountain. Great food. Then took a train, a cable car, and a boat back to Lucerne. The cable car descended through the clouds and then the lake suddenly appeared, glittering like gold. Incredible views. A huge variety of restaurants. The fondue restaurant was one of our favorites. Eat outside or inside at many of the restaurants. Shopping everywhere. Beautiful old buildings. Lucerne is my favorite place in all of Switzerland. I'll be back in the spring!

This city is a short distance from Lucerne.

This city is a short distance from Lucerne. There are frequent trains that go to Lucerne and further into Unterwalden. The main attraction in Hergiswill is the glass works and its museum and restaurant. There is a boat that stops there. One of its benefits is hotels that cost less than Lucerne Hotels and offer great views of the Lake. Consider it a suburb of Lucerne.

Ok so, Weggis is a beautiful little village but that is also it's problem, it's a little village. Activities were limited and so were the restaurants. I would recommended staying there as a "base" but then exploring the surrounding attractions.

It's a nice village close to Luzern and Stans.

It's a nice village close to Luzern and Stans. You can easily get the train to Luzern or Engelberg and visit the Stanserhorn bahn or the Titlis bahn. Where you can ski, take in the beautiful views or do some walking. It is by the lake and there are some good restaurants close by and also by the lake with lovely views and good pizza! you can also take a nice walk around the lake too.

We stop off in Beckenreid for coffee, enroute to and from...

We stop off in Beckenreid for coffee, enroute to and from Italy. But recently a stop off to be close to the St Gotthard tunnel, as its busy especially in the summer. Beckenreid has multiple facilities, coffee shops, supermarkets, petrol station and ferry stops, going to Lucerne and directly across the lake. It is just off the motorway.

The lake view from the hotel window, with the surrounding mountains, is vey beautiful. The mountain behind is a very nice "fitness" route. The view from the top of the mountain is even better than from the hotel, amenities include boat trips through the lake, a golf course on top of the mountain and a sky station next to the town.

I received an upgrade from a mountain view room to a lake view room, which I appreciated very much. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Rigi Vitznau to anyone visiting Vitznau.

There are so many places we like: 1. Breakfast at Spices Kitchen & Terrace - breathtaking view of Lake Lucerne for breakfast. Go early to get a table near the window. 2. Restaurant Taverne - its rosti is the best I have eaten in Switzerland. Must try! 3. For tennis players, must visit Diamond Domes to play tennis. For golfers, must try the 9 hole golf course with stunning scenery. 4. Experience the Hammetschwand Lift and the Suspension Stairs. 5. Enjoy the funicular railway and catamaran to Lucerne and return. All complimentary for hotel guests. 6. Download the Burgenstock App and check out the daily activities. There are Core & Stretch, Aqua Fitness, History Tour and Burgenstock Resort Movie. 7. Must visit the Spa to enjoy the indoor and outdoor pool, infinity pool, steam room, sauna room, floating pool, foot spa and the relaxation area.

Stoos is a very charismatic small village in the Swiss alps.

Stoos is a very charismatic small village in the Swiss alps. You get their only with the steepest funicular of the world, no cars in the village. During the summer season this village only attracts people for the famous (and very overcrowded by Instagrammers and Tiktokkers) Stoos ridge hike. It is amazing and has great views but you walk in line the whole way unless you are willing to really take the 1st chairlift up there. I am sure there are as nice hikes but less crowded ridge hikes in Switzerland. It was a reminder for us to never take travel tips from social media.
