Hotel staff was very nice, room clean and with a small kitchenette. Temperature in the room was perfect for sleeping bed was comfortable. Areas of the hotel are under video surveillance. The hotel accommodated an early checkin and earlier breakfast which was very good for our early flight.

Really liked the staff, they were so friendly and super helpful and tried to teach us some Spanish too, the location was excellent felt very safe, the cleanliness was great and the room was very spacious. The breakfast was very handy, didn’t like the eggs but the waffles and the pancakes were lovely and the continental was lovely. Everything was perfect. They give you free drinks at the reception and bottled water in the rooms. Showers were waterfall and really nice.

Sonesta overbooked so I had no room. It was no problem though they arranged me a super new hotel at a good rate in a great area. The staff member was super professional and I was happy to move.     I love Bogota, the weather and the people are wonderful. it is like a combination of the good of a developed and the good of a developing country all in one. Of course there is some things that need improving, but it is a very nice combination of features.

    Traffic is horrible and there is only bus service (no metro like Medellin and other more comparable cities). Give yourself ample time for transport if you're visiting the city. A 12km ride at 0700 from the airport to another part of the city took almost 2 hrs. The drive back at 1000 took 75 minutes. Good food. Helpful people. Wonderful museums. I prefer Medellín over Bogota for it's green spaces and ease of getting anywhere on the Metro.

    Bogota is great, vibrant and exciting with friendly inhabitants. Where Toscana lodge is situated is perfect for long stays, like mine. It is reasonably close to el Centro and I walk to town every 2nd day, yet it is in the middle of Chapinero within walking distance to four Supermarkets. I would stay here again without a doubt.
