Staff were very helpful when there was a mistake in the room allocation. We loved the wellness room we ended up in, and the facilities in the wellness area were fantastic. Location is lovely, tucked up in the hill away from the town. We wish we stayed for longer!

We loved our stay, everything was perfect. Let me start with easy check-in. The room was super clean, spacious with huge bed. We had a small fridge in the room which was nice. Bathroom was fully equipped with towels, washing products. Breakfast was very nice with many options to choose from. We booked half-board and the dinner was delicious, home made food. There is no grocery store near by but there is a self service fridge in the hotel where you can buy any drinks at reasonable price and pay at the check out. We could make coffee or tea at any time of the day. We really felt like home, and staff working there was also very nice and welcomed us like a family.

Last year we stayed in Janske Lazne and cycled past the "Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou", and we said, next time we come to Pec we have to stay there. And we just stayed there, as a family of four and our dog. What do we love about it ? The location is magnificent, it is on the plateau at the top of the mountain, you feel like you are on top of the world, it is a recently built mountain chalet, and done in a beautiful style, we had the half board and the breakfast and evening meal were absolutely perfect. The hotel is run by the owner who is very friendly and very helpful with local knowledge, where to hike, where to stop for lunch. In the evening you have beautiful sunsets with views which stretch for tens of miles, at night there is a quietness which cannot be matched. We need to explore Pec more, and we will be staying here again next time and using it as our base. What more to say, Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou is a gem, enjoy it.

    Nice apartments both in size and comfort. Fully equipped kitchen and I mean really fully equipped I could only miss nespresso/coffe machine that one may expect from this level- full set of glassware/kitchenware, e.t.c. that we had not used but it was there. Very comfortable beds/sheets,e.t.c. Great breakfast and alternative to old reviews they do have both a coffee machine and American style filter coffee. A bottle of prosecco on ice was also nice. They managed to squeeze full breakfast into the available space - we had nothing to comply about. There is a nice lobby with terrace to the river side. You get one parking space and 90 minutes of wellness/spa access from morning till 17:00 on the roof.

    The hotel is very nice. It is close to the city centrum so it is fine to reach by foot. If you go by car, the hotel has a parking space which they charge you a few euros per day. In the city centrum is also easy to park (You can pay on your mobile phone and it is not expensive). The breakfast and dinner were included. The buffet has a good variety of food and the food is good. We spend the Christmas night there as well and it was a very good experience. Good food, drinks, music were all included. The hotel is close to the ski station and there are a lot of sky schools for beginners.

    Very nice and clean hotel with fantastic service beginning from the very helpfull sir in the reception, restaurant waiters, to the service man who repaired my broken boot (big thank you - it worked even on the Śnieżka peak) :-)! The historical place with the greate and calm atmosphere in the middle of mountains.It was really pleasure spend time here.Thank you for all, we will come back again for sure.

    Very expensive and it feels they don't invest in the city. Some of the facilities look very old and unused. Most restaurants are overpriced and the quality is not on a high level. We were satisfied in Lebeda restaurant.

    It is a fantastic location, surrounded by beautiful nature. It is the home to some excellent restaurants ( our personal favorite: Hotel Praha)! There are also plenty of indoor ( Glass museum) and outdoor activities to enjoy!

Here are some highlights and activities you can enjoy in and around Janske Lazne: - Adrspach Rocks: A stunning natural rock formation, perfect for hiking and photography. - Cerna Hora - Raselinisko: Accessible via the cable car, offering beautiful views and serene walks. - Vrchlabi City Walk: A charming town with picturesque streets and historical sites. - Pec pod Snezkou: Great for hiking and enjoying the mountain scenery. - Safari Park in Dvur Kralove: A fun and educational experience, especially if you love animals. Food: We enjoyed some excellent meals at the FARMA Steak and Fish Restaurant: Delicious FARMA burger and Redfish in a cozy setting. Restaurace Smrčina: A great place to try local cuisine with a friendly atmosphere.

    This has been the best family ski holiday so far.

    This has been the best family ski holiday so far. I was travelling with three kids and we were looking for a ski school and getting onto a children-friendly ski slope which would be nearby. Apartma Pavla was the best choice we made. We stayed there for three nights. It is located 100-150 m from the ski slope, behind a big sporthotel. The ski equipment can be rented from many renters, and the snow was there. We rented the equipment from the sporthotel which provided storage as well. Our host was amazing, starting from picking us up at the bus stop, handing over the keys, showing us around and helping us out in every way. The four-person flat had a small kitchen with all necessary utensils and a dining area, and the Tesco express shop was 10 minutes away by walk at the main bus stop. The village itself has all facilities and is definitely recommended for visiting. We took a ski lesson at the slope from a ski school, and kids were sliding down with confidence after one hour. Our host kindly offered sledges too, but we were all tired to use them after the busy days. Overall, this was an amazing holiday.

    It's a fantastic place for anyone interested in hiking and /or relaxing near beautiful forests and nature, as well as interesting castles and sights that aren't too far away. Don't expect much in the way of infrastructure, there are a couple of restaurants and a shop , it's very popular with young families with children. Really liked this place for its simplicity and cool climate during a heatwave.

    Touristy but small and picturesque town in the Krkonosse...

    Touristy but small and picturesque town in the Krkonosse national park. It is one of the few mountain resorts in the area that's easily accessible by road from both the Czech and the Polish sides. The location is ideal for hiking and mountain biking in summer, as well as for a restful and lazy getaway. It also offers ski fields in the winter season, although less than the nearby main ski resort in Pec Pod Snezkou. Local restaurant options are limited.

    It's a wonderful place with special character and magical vibe. Lots of great mountain hikes, perfectly marked tracks with mountain huts to enjoy some great local food and beer, of course. One of the top places in the country.

    this is a great little village right next to the ski slopes, it has good facilities, easy to access the hill, easy to get lift ticket, great restaurants on ski slopes, great trails to get to and from the vaious runs, not too crowded, it has a a good variety of runs, from beginner to advanced
