Stayed here for 2 nights and loved it so much I had to stay for another one. The Hotel was right in the middle of the city, so close to various restaurants. Our room was tastefully decorated, very clean and had a perfect view over the little canal that runs through the city centre and the beautiful green mountain range. Both the swimming pool and steam room were an absolute wonder to relax for a few hours. Last but not least, the staff were impecable - always in a good mood and very helpful.

At the first time of our life, we decided to stay in a 5-star hotel. The hotel was a dream come true. From arrival to the checkout, anywhere we looked around, it's was a piece of art. The hotel is a landmark in Karlovy vary and also in the world. The space the architecture the locatin spa dinning roon, the food . in a matter of giving the hotel and all his facilities a grade, it would be 10+. The filling is all the time. Wow. The stuff is outstanding, the rooms are over the expectations, and we felt like on a cloud we never wanted to leave. The spa area is in two places, and the passes are inside the hotel all the time. You also have the bar in a beautiful spot in minus 1, between the corridor that connects the hotel from his 2 parts. Music all the time. There's the coffee Pupp, which is the spot for noon coffee with a view to the river. We stayed at the riverside part. The other side is the park side. We recommend the riverside. By the way, in this hotel there's so many pictures of movie stars due to the Karlovy Vary festival once a year. Many movies were shot here, specifically Casino Royal of James Bond. Well if you have a 3 or 4 nights don't wait order and make your fantasy real.

It's a serene place with very clean air and gorgeous lanscape design. Everything was excellent! The room was spotless. Beds very comfortable. Quiet and beautiful location. The swimming pool, hot tub and three separate saunas! Free parking and great breakfast in the opulent chateau dining room or on the patio outside. All amazing, would highly recommend, and definitely stay again. Price was very good

    I recently stayed at Richmond Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a beautiful park, surrounded by nature, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Our room for three was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view from the balcony. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. Special thanks to a kind staff member who assisted us with our meals due to health conditions – her help was greatly appreciated. The food was diverse and delicious, and we also enjoyed the well-maintained swimming pool. Overall, Richmond is a perfect choice for anyone seeking a tranquil retreat with great service and amenities. Highly recommended!

    Very cute little town - scenic with beautiful buildings. We only stayed one night and would loved to have been there longer to really explore. We ate at one of the beer brewery restuarants around the corner from our accommodation and the food was delicious.

    The Singing Fountain is just magical--especially at night!

    The Singing Fountain is just magical--especially at night! Try to go when it's open. The town center is quiet, peaceful, and safe. It's a very walkable place in general. Drinking water from all its springs was fascinating. The food options were quite good--no chains but a lot of "mom and pop" places with no shortage of cuisine types. The locals don't speak the best English, but that's to be expected in a small town. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and spring is definitely the best time of year to go!

    The old town was beautiful. The hiking trails in the surroundings offered great views of the old town, and a nice place for forest bathing. Also, there are good bicycle paths that are well sign-posted.

    Lovely small town with a beautiful castle/ chateau where you can also see the relics of St Maur and you can have a lovely lunch or a coffee and cake in a wonderful cafe there. Great choice of soups! It was also interesting to read about the history of the gallows on the way up to Execution hill.

    I expected it to be my dream place for enjoying a spa experience, and at the end there was nothing available of that sort, maybe only in the very expensive hotels. Mine was a decent hotel, but did not have pool, and there were two public places that were not appealing at all. The town was nice, but most places close very early. I ate a decent meal at the popular Check restaurant in town(had to try at least once), nothing amazing, just ok.

    Such a small beautiful city that makes you feel like in a movie. The castle is amazing, the nature around keeps you fresh. Definitely we will come back and it is a super romantic place to visit with your partner. The city is quite small, so you can walk around easily. If you enjoy cycling, take your bike with you!

One can feel like his on a filming site, but everything is real. Excellent beer, good food, competitive prices, and hotel prices are absolute value for money. On the negative side, the town has a heavy Soviet times legacy, mostly in its specialization in attracting tourists from Russia. As a result, the Soviet Russian culture is dominating everywhere - from adverts, small and large - in Russian as the main foreign language around the town, to hotel and restaurant staff, always speaking Russian, in some cases -German, and far less often - English. I know that the town authorities tried to switch the main tourist origin from Russians to Germans of Russian origin after the start of Russian aggression on Ukraine. They partially succeeded, but unfortunately, it didn't change the atmosphere in a beautiful town much. You can still see Russian as the dominating language around with tons of loudly speaking, hardly talking people, some with bad manners, dominating in town. Probably, those with nostalgia for Soviet times, or who speak only Russian, will feel more comfortable here than in any other town in the EU, though.

    I like Mariansky Lazne more than Karlovy Vary.

    I like Mariansky Lazne more than Karlovy Vary. It is small beautiful town, so peaceful and green. Everything is cheaper than in KV. Good restaurants, cafes, fine boutiques. Many trails for people who love walking. I lived in Hotel Continental - lovely place with spacious room, pool, sauna, wellness centre, excellent breakfasts and dining. I would come back there witch pleasure.

    A beautiful little town that isn't swamped with tourists.

    A beautiful little town that isn't swamped with tourists. Compact and easily walkable, with a range of sights including several museums and the impressive castle. All the locals were friendly, and prices for accomodation and restaurants seemed reasonable everywhere. Definitely worth a visit.
