Duesseldorf is an amazingly beautiful city.
Duesseldorf is an amazingly beautiful city. If you like to party it is obviously good for that as well since the bar scene seems to go all night long during the week. I'm no longer into the bar scene I just know that when I had to leave at 3am to catch my flight they were all still going strong on a Tuesday night. Besides that the architecture and the river scenes are amazing!!!Guest review bybruceUnited States - 8.0

The hotel was close to the River Rhine: there runs a lovely walk along the Rhine under mature trees, so it's shady and comfortable, with really nice views, it's inviting to sit and watch the ships go by, large meadow areas for children to play the town has all facilities, plenty of different shops in the pedestrianised road running from the station to the market square, restaurants, cafe's, ice cream parloursGuest review byRegina ZakaniUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Ratingen has nice historic center with few restaurants and church in the middle. Overall, it is calm, but this area is populated mostly by industrial companies, warehouses, etc. Getting there is pretty hard from Dusseldorf, since buses are not going that often and you usually travel for around 45 minutes to 1 hour there. Trams are available which are the best way of transport from Ratingen to Dusseldorf.Guest review byTomášSlovakia - 6.0

Comfortable stay, but please provide decent full bed covers on your double beds even if only single occupancy, rather than a pathetic single bed cover! I think you should improve your breakfast for the amount you charge, which at present is excessive.Guest review byJuanUnited Kingdom - 6.0
The part I stayed in had no public facilities like Shops.
The part I stayed in had no public facilities like Shops. The hotel itself did not have any refreshments on sale, so there wasnt much to do. I wouldnt recommend it for someone who is on holiday. Lucky for us we spent the entire day out in the big town of Dusseldorf.Guest review byGodfreySouth Africa - 4.0

Düsseldorf was overall a nice city, recommended for people who like the arts (as there are multiple museums -> you can do the art card to visit all of them in 48 hours). It's also the location of the biggest Japanese community in Europe, so if you like Japan, be sure to give Little Tokyo a try; there are some very good restaurants there.Guest review byAndreaItaly - 8.0

It's a small town away from the busy city centre of Dusseldorf. Its a town that is full of its own history and heritage. English not commonly spoken here but they will understand you. A town that is full of arts & culture such as "CLEMEN SELS MUSEUM & CHURCH"..if its something that you are looking for. Transportation coverage is quite good. A town that has both cultural and modern amenities to look for. Culturally; there are museums and famous old buildings that you can see. Modern...there are places that you can shop such as a mall and some shops that offer products at an affordable pricing. Bring your own bag to keep the stuff you bought as no bags are given for your purchase. Its very quiet on SUNDAYS with 90% of the shops and malls are closed. Just few eateries that is open and probably will be closed by about 4pm on sunday. Most days..the town will come alive around 10am and sleeps by 5pm. So plan your day there well. Do look out for the clock songs that will play in the afternoon. there are 2 buildings that has a clocks with bells that sings & rings. I tried some pastry at this "OEBEL CAFE". i tried the bacon&egg sandwich ...and its tasty. Just like any other city's or town that you go too; you got to be careful with your belongings.Guest review byNicole ChooMalaysia - 8.0

We needed a place close to the airport to sleep over for an early flight. The room met our needs, was clean and comfortable and had lovely restaurants in the area where we could have dinner. Check in and out was effortless.Guest review byBerdine BronkhorstSouth Africa - 10.0
The walk along the river was stunning.
The walk along the river was stunning. I couldn't sleep the first night (nothing to do with the hotel) and at 4.30 am in early July is was beautiful. The houses look freshly built in the area, and I really liked it.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Düsseldorf was a a revelation.
Düsseldorf was a a revelation. It is a such a cool, cosmopolitan and friendly city. Definitely take the open top bus tour to get an overview of the city, then explore. The Altstadt (old town) is wonderful linking the modern shopping centre and the Rhine. Enjoy the quaint streets full of cafes, restaurants and shops. On a night time it is electrifying. It is one big party as its 260 bars and restaurants come to life and all of life is out for a party. All ages, all communities, all nationalities all in one human smorgasbord of friendship and fun. Any type of food from around the world is available. So reassuringly human and safe. The city centre shopping district is a shopper's paradise. Also I recommend a visit to Benrath Schloss and an evening cruise off the Rhine with an Aperol Spritz. Perfect long weekend!Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom
