Modern furnishing, large windows, well equipped with sockets (at the desk, bed sides, bathroom, even next to the toilet bowl, next to light switches), automatic light below the wash basin, quality soap in soap dispenser, large magnifying mirror, candle and matches on the coffee table. Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in! All fixtures and fittings were brand new and of optimum quality. Spacious room superbly decorated with Frida Kahlo artwork. Check-in should be easy on the machine at the entrance, but I had a problem as the booking details were wrong. Someone from the cafe came to help me out. The cafe is very plush and breakfast there was excellent.

    Location, facilities, staff. We stayed in Dschungel Lodges. We loved the overall concept, nice cozy beds and a real feel of staying in a jungle. A perfect get-away for the weekend.     Hannover offers an appealing array of fine dining experiences; the town/city is exceptionally easy to navigate and it is supported by a well-developed transport system. The abundance of supermarkets throughout the city is a welcome convenience, while the town centre stands out with its inviting shops and a lively farmers market (I saw on Friday morning) all nestled within a clean, safe, and well-maintained urban setting.

    Bremen is such a lively, historically interesting city.

    Bremen is such a lively, historically interesting city. From the river and it's busy maritime activity to the cool, green spaces of its many parks there is so much to enjoy. Touring the Mercedes Benz factory or visiting the outstanding Emigration Museum in Bremerhaven or taking a tour of the mediaeval Town Hall. This is something for everyone.

    Nothing much here compared to other towns. Didn’t understand the Grimm Brothers museum and what it was trying to achieve. The Bergpark was good. Great for nature lovers. Three night maximum stay is sufficient.

    Gottingen is a lovely town and very easy to negotiate.

    Gottingen is a lovely town and very easy to negotiate. We drove from Frankfurt and there was plenty of parking everywhere including near the university and city centre. There are a diverse range of restaurants and shops in the city. Plenty of places to sit out and have drinks, ice cream of coffee and people watch.

    It is more touristic than I thought, a bit overcrowded for my taste. One reason to not take the cable car up the mountain. If you like crowds and lots of restaurants you're at the right place. We had a good meal in Willingen. We went to the hang bridge (Sky walk) nearby, we visited the Dimeltalsperre and we went shopping in Winterberg.

    Don’t expect a regular hotel, this is a ground floor 2 bed apartment which we were unaware of when we booked….however it ticked all our boxes for an overnight stay. No complaints here. Overall a good apartment with extras.

    My Dad served in Fulda during the early 1970s. It was a joy to go back and learn what an amazing and vibrant city that Fulda is. I enjoyed exploring it's cultural heritage during the wine festival and it was lovely to see so many of the site's I grew up hearing about.

    Christmas market worths to mention.

    Christmas market worths to mention. You should not visit Heinz Nixdorf Computer Museum which is one of the largest of its kind. Be careful there is a speed camera next to Lidl where the speed drops from 70 to 30 km/h even on Saturdays.

    Winterberg exceeded expectations.

    Winterberg exceeded expectations. One believes that you would need to go to Switzerland or Austria to have a great ski holiday, but the truth is a short 4 hour drive from the middle of the Netherlands you are in a place where as a beginner skier you have everything you might want! There might be more challenging slopes, but I did not attempt those this time around, I will surely be back again to see more..

    Lovely place, well worth a visit. Traffic regime in town a bit chaotic due to 'green' local policies, but sufficient parking for those who can find it. Mind the traffic calming measures/cycling lanes. Beautiful gothic Church of St. Elisabeth, historic town centre with old university buildings, lovely restaurants and some very nice shops. Gorgeous views from the well-preserved castle but hills quite steep with many steps. Lots of students with active night-life during term time. Beautiful surrounding area, perfect for walks and cycling. Superb, large Botanical Gardens with nice café (note the short opening times, though).
