    Breathe taking views of the alps across the lake from the infinity pool never got tired! The staff were very helpful and entertaining. Great cocktails (the house cocktail - dirty rose was good). Good quality food (4 courses for £39 if booked in advance). The sauna with a view over the lake was wonderful (as was the overall spa, small but well designed). Booking a space on the private parking deck was very useful as it got busy parking on the road. The bar stocked over 100 gins! Cosy (fake) fur blankets. Being handed 2 bottles of water when we checked out.

Plus points for us was tesla charger included in cost, we are a family of vegetarians and vegans and we're well catered for. Ate in restaurant for 3 meals, all excellent with great service. Staff very friendly and helpful. We opted for a balcony room for one of us which was amazing with views of neuschwanstein Castle and the lake and mountains. 2 other rooms were without the view but were large and comfortable.

Very near to the river. Tram stop just around the corner.

The Mountain View I was supposed to get from my room was poor, rain clouds everywhere. Next morning however, the clouds had gone and the view was to die for. definitely a hotel I would stay at again.

    The history available through the museums, historic buildings, and art galleries is extraordinary. The confectionary shops add a wonderful addition to a cup of coffee. Beers from 3X different breweries made this a good tasting experience.

    A very interesting historical city, much of which has been...

    A very interesting historical city, much of which has been lovingly restored after devastating air raid damage in WW2. The Residence I(and its gardens) are well worth visiting, being a smaller scale version of the palaces at Versailles and Charlottenburg. Don't miss the Hofkirche while there. The Marienberg Fortress on the hill overlooking the town offers fantastic views, but is currently being extensively refurbished. It is still worth visiting though. And if you like visiting churches, you will not be disappointed here. Fantastic cuisine and wine available here. we can heartily recommend Aifach Resins and zum Stachel, the former for more contemporary cuisine and the latter for more traditional fare in traditional and historic surroundings.

    We’ve been there before and always enjoy visiting. It’s a beautiful and historic medieval town that is protected by a double ring of fortifications upon which you can walk. Not far from the Frankfurt airport. Incredible views, great restaurants and shopping. In a word: MAGICAL! And the food of this region in Germany is fantastic!

    The town is lovely for a walk and for viewing the painted buildings. You can also get some good beer. Prices are higher due to the proximity of the castle. The town is an ideal place to stay for visiting the castle or for hiking. The roads are well maintained, as are the cycling and hiking trails. Our visit was at the end of September, with slightly worse weather, so we did not experience any crowds.

Although tourist crowds have grown significantly over the years, it's still worth a visit. Early mornings and evenings are the best time to walk around, especially if you're into photography. It continues to be one of the most beautiful towns to photograph that I've ever visited.

    It's a lovely small city with many historic buildings, a thermal bath https://solymar-therme.de/ and several good restaurants. It's easy to walk around in the city centre because there is a car free zone and speed restrictions. The Greek restaurant Zunftstuben Poseidon is very good value for money https://poseidon-mgh.de/ plus all the local bakeries and cafes offer great food. It's a good base to explore the area by car, bike or train. The local wildlife park is interesting for adults as well as children and provides many play activities https://www.wildtierpark.de/. I also loved visiting the Weikersheim Palace and Garden which is only 20min away by car or you could take a train or even cycle along the river on a dedicated cycling path https://www.schloss-weikersheim.de/en/.

    A fantastic medieval town worth a day or two!

    A fantastic medieval town worth a day or two! Walk the fully preserved town wall for a unique perspective, climb the Daniel Tower for stunning views, and visit the impressive cathedral. Don’t miss the asteroid museum to learn about the town’s impact crater origins. From March to October, the train museum near the station is a great attraction. And fun fact—it’s the hometown of a legendary football player. Guess who?

    Landsberg is a very cute city.

    Landsberg is a very cute city. Was a great place to stay and central to where we were going. Went north to Augsburg, south to Fussen and west to Munich. Easy to take the train into Munich, but we had a car to take us to train station. Loved this town and this place was so convenient to getting around it. We had a great time.

    Augsburg has got a lot of beautiful places within: we especially liked the old town, visited the Fugger social living estate, the Rathausplatz at the weekend for sitting out in the sunshine, a piano is located outside the cathedral where anyone can play... there are a lot of other things to see and do which we didn't
