We enjoyed our stay very much indeed. The hotel and staff were lovely. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Parking was good too. Breakfast was excellent and the location was great too - just what we needed for an overnight stay. Easy to access motorway, petrol station and a supermarket (Aldi). Ulm, with its lovely minster and the old town was a short driving distance from the hotel so we enjoyed a brief visit.

Super friendly staff, beautiful place, homey and cozy, historic, close to everything, got a very nice recommendation for a number of places around, the gentleman at the reception took his time to talk me through everything I might be interested in and was curious to listen as well for what I wanted to know about. Last Saturday, I attended a friend's wedding in Erbach and stayed at the charming, family-run Hotel Zur Linde with my wife and two young daughters. The hotel, meticulously maintained by a delightful elderly couple and their son, provided a warm and homey atmosphere, exceptional service, and spacious, well-kept rooms. Their outstanding hospitality, including a free ride to the wedding hall and a delightful breakfast, made our stay unforgettable and deserving of a perfect 10-star rating.

The whole hotel is tastefuly decorated. It offers all modern facilities while respecting the historical feel of the building. The staff was kind, helpful, and very efficient. One of the rooms had run out of shower gel, and as soon as we pointed it out to them, they replaced it. We didn't have the opportunity to try the restaurant, but the breakfast was very good. We're looking forward to returning to try it. In addition to that, it was all spotless. It was a short but very pleasant stay.

I was able to set the room temperature at 21 degrees just like at my home, that is an absolute win from my side. Was my first time when I saw a self check in machine in a hotel and I did not tried it, but next time I will definitely try it. I liked very much the design of the hotel and the room, extra points for that :)

Very beautiful, unfotgetful Ulmer Münster, old city houses on the Blau, city library and many other attractions... I must not forget Einstein birth place - an interesting monument in the centre reminding his birth house which no longer exists.

The hotel had an underground car parking facility so we felt...

The hotel had an underground car parking facility so we felt our motorbike was safe and not left in front of the hotel. We had to have an evening meal from the supermarket Norma which was below the hotel. Which was very annoying as the pub we thought we were staying at turned out to be a Chinese restaurant that closes on Monday when we were there. We did not want Chinese food or take away piazza. We had travelled too far to get back on the bike to find another place to eat. We travelled down the A8 onto the A7, turned right onto the 10 then right again on the 2023 to get to this hotel or we would have had to pay 2 ULEZ fees to get there as both ULM and New Ulm have fees.

Lovely town with great park and castle. Not your typical tourist town, but surroundings offer great things. Large town nearby and lots of outdoor activities in the area. Birth town of the Hollywood founder (look it up).

Illertissen was just an overnight on the way to somewhere else for us, so we didn't notice anything much about it. I do know that we had to drive about 20 mins along the motorway to find somewhere decent to eat dinner tho!

Nice typically German village, very well manicured. Good for cycling. I ate at the hotel restaurant, very busy place. Food was ok, although main course seemed a little cold , I had schnitzel with curly potato, chips would have been better. Should have tried the local specialty noodles with goulash.

We were there on a Sunday and there are no shops open in the town. My husband wasn't feeling great and there were no pharmacies nearby. There were also only a couple of choices for restaurants that were open for dinner. While the Hotel Restaurant Austüble has a dinner option, the menu wasn't something we were interested in. We liked the options at the Brasserie Adler, Thalfingen better. A bowl of soup was only $5euros and was plenty for a guy with an upset stomach! Service was great, too.

Nothing to see. No shops and very few restaurants. There is a McDonalds on the main highway just outside the town which was our only option for dinner. I would recommend giving Dornstadt a miss. Not the usual standard of German town.

Ulm is definitely worth visiting.

Ulm is definitely worth visiting. Ancient half-timbering designs, narrow streets, picturesque views, quaint restaurants and old hotels including the most slanted hotel in Germany. The Fischerviertel is a must. It is advisable to make restaurant reservations well in advance to avoid disappointments.

very close to Ulm which we wanted to see the Munster - tallest church in the world and the Christmas market. GREAT :) Breakfast was at the hotel and we ate later at the Christmas markets. They also had a teapot I was able to have in the room.

It's a beautiful city with lots of beautiful old and new architecture. but it's not good if you have a suitcase because it's paved with cobble stones and bricks, which are not good for the wheels. * If you're intending to walk, make sure you bring trainers, and if they are shoes, they must be comfortable too. * make sure you have coins because you have to pay for public toilets, restaurants and coffee shops are strictly for customers only. * bring your own shopping bag or plastic because they are not free
