Bustling, pretty coastal city which is very easy to get around on foot. Aarhus felt relatively safe even after dark. Just one word of warning, like all of Denmark Aarhus is expensive, think London prices and significantly more in some cases. The old town of Den Gamle By is amazing and well worth the entrace costs.Guest review byRichard - 10.0

A lovely city to be in, plenty of places to visit in the city; lots of cafes, restaurants, bars, and shops. Lovely walks around the lakes, woods, and river. Central shopping areas is pedestrianised so no cars.Guest review byAGK56United Kingdom - 6.0

Old timey city center with some half-timbered houses and generally traditional architecture. The streets are kinda narrow which gives you a comfy feeling. The rest of the city is very spaced out, however, which is to say everything is pretty distanced from each other which means you have to get used to walking, and the trainstation is 10-15 min walk from the city center. I think the best way to describe Randers is that the local H&M doesn't have a male section but they have a very modern cinema. Food was fine. 20 DKK beer at the old irish (Pilsner).Guest review bySommer - 10.0

The location was perfect, the host communicated very well, the accommodation was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was a new experience for me and although the sharing system worked perfectly well I did feel a little uncomfortable with the arrangement; I am aware that this probably just says more about me than about the accommodation which was excellent overall.Guest review byMichaelDenmark - 10.0

Would highly recommend Tarantini Italian restaurant the food was outstanding. There is a lovely lake which has a boat. Great scenery and the author who write "There was a crooked man who lived in a crooked house" is from there. Look out for the house in the town.Guest review byHelen - 2.0

Our holiday in Odder (8 person holiday home at Vesterbergvej 16) is not what it should be! For the weather you are not responsible, but you are responsible for the holiday home. The rooms were not clean and in common, the home was not neatly cleaned: the beds were not neat, there was dust in all corners, the bathroom cabinet was not cleaned, the shower is full of rust, some plates and cups and glasses and casseroles were still dirty, the coffee maker contains a moldy filter with coffee in it so we cannot use it, everything is mixed up in the garbage bins outside, the whirlpool controls are almost totally broken, ... We choosed this house because of the whirlpool and the sauna, but as it is now, we don't dare to go in the sauna...Guest review byJordi - 10.0

Aarhus is lovely with great architecture, harbour, forest walks, theme park, wonderful art museum (AROS), great cycling, good cafes and restaurants. You can reach Aarhus from Copenhagen by train or by bus which goes on the ferry.Guest review byfenellaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Ebeltoft has a central area of old half-timbered buildings and cobbled streets which makes it a pleasant place to be. There are opportunities for long walks and a wide range of activities. Plenty of nice places to eat at all times of the day. The harbour area in the old fishing port is a nice place to stroll and relax.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Skanderborg is a smallish town in the West of Denmark, far from Copenhagen, but the area is beautiful and a great base to visit other places in Western Denmark. The thriving city of Aarhus is only 20 - 30 minutes away, and there are plenty of attractions within an hour of SkanderborgGuest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Plenty to see and we would thoroughly recommend one of the historical walking tours which gives a good grounding for further exploration. Do download the 'Rejsekort' app to allow use of buses and trams - much the best way of getting about.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom
