I really liked the staff both at our arrival and at the morning when we left. Since we have to leave before breakfast in the morning, they made sure we got breakfast by preparing a lunchbox for us to take with us. Very good food & very good service!

We had a wonderful wedding lunch with about 20 people at the Garden Cafe. The setting in Augustenborg Garden is really beautiful and the team of Mette and Mette took great care of us. You get a really individual set up. From the menu to decoration and wedding cake. They do their best to fulfill all your wishes. We will always remember that special day. Thanks a lot for having us and the warm welcome. The home made gløgg is excellent as well. For our wedding we stayed at the lovely apartments in Augustenborg Garden right next to the Café. That was a perfect fit.

We went there mainly to visit Legoland so we cannot say much about the Lalandia resort itself, we mainly used the accommodation but we do plan a longer stay in the future. You can easily spend 1week in Billund and not get bored. The location is fantastic, close to Legoland and yet in a calm, quiet area. It was a nice break from the busy days at the park. We stayed in the Nordic homes and the stuff was so nice to fulfil our request and we received a home which was closer to the main building so the children did not have to walk a lot. The areal is huge and there is a train which goes all the way to the end (15 minutes ride) but it is quite crowded so we preferred walking instead. The home itself is large, comfortable and it has everything you can possible imagine and need and we are quite picky. There is a nice terrace, a large living room and plenty of space for a large family. In the beginning of our stay there was an issue "with the heating which refused to start but we called Lalandia and they promptly sent somebody over to fix it. It turned out the boiler had been stopped by the previous tenants. The young man who came over was friendly and helpful, actually all the stuff was very polite and smiling all the time, we were really impressed. We were concerned about paying extra for electricity and water consumption but the prices were decent to low. The estimation they did at the beginning was correct, we paid around 60 euros for 4adults and 3 children, 3 days and I would say it is fair since we kept the heating on 24.5 degrees and also used the sauna once :-)

This was a lovely stay in Ribe. The resort is really nice and offers everything you may need. All individual houses provide enough privacy and yet you do not feel secluded. The rooms offer ample space and are equipped with all necessary appliances. The bathroom is also on a big side and is quite comfortable. Access to town is really easy and you can reach the main square in 10 mins on foot. Parking space is also provided, however, it was just not adjacent to our house, but not a big deal. We requested a complimentary breakfast which is picked at the reception as a prepared set packed into a paper bag. For us the breakfast was enough and it was tasty. I can definitely recommend the place.

Room was large, tastefully decorated with cute little balcony overlooking some of the roofs of old Skagen. Breakfast was excellent - good selection of a la carte items along with a delicious buffet and freshly baked breads and pastries. Their omelette was cooked to perfection. Lounge area by reception was a perfect 'hyggelig" area for guests to relax with a drink, read, play cards or chess. Had delicious Moules Frites for dinner in their vibrant Brasserie restaurant. Would definitely come back to this hotel.

We stayed here for two nights in a room with a a beach view terrace. A beautiful early 20th century property which was carefully renovated. We loved the common areas including a lounge with fireplace for pre-dinner drinks and a library with arm chairs. The restaurant experience was stunning: inventive food with a Mediterranean twist and an expertly curated wine list leave nothing more to wish for. We also tried Cafe Danmark in nearby Esbjerg, which I cannot recommend enough (make a reservation). We will be back.

I didn’t know much about Aarhus before visiting, but wow – what an amazing surprise! The city has such a friendly and cozy vibe. Everything feels calm and easy, yet there’s so much going on. The locals are super nice and always ready to help, which made my stay even better. I loved walking around the Latin Quarter with its cute little streets, colorful houses, and cool cafés. The ARoS Art Museum was incredible — especially the rainbow walkway on top! You get the most beautiful view of the whole city. Getting around Aarhus is super simple — you can walk or bike almost anywhere. It’s clean, safe, and full of good energy. I really felt like I could live there! If you’re planning a trip to Denmark, don’t skip Aarhus. It’s a perfect mix of culture, nature, and that special Scandinavian charm. I can’t wait to go back one day!

We were really happy with our visit to Vejle. I had read that it was an interesting place to visit but was still very surprised how much was going on during our weekend. I love visiting cities I can walk around and Vejle is easily walkable. Walking from harbour (east side) to the Cultural Museum (west side) was a bit too far for our 5 year old to do in one go without needing a snack but overall a great city to visit with a family.

Kolding is a small city, but blended with different dynamic ambiance, people of different diversities are living there. Convenient transportation, old and beautiful Danish buildings for artistic pleasure, a university (SDU) and a public library for intellectual enjoyment. Walking along the roads in the central part or wandering around the lake are always very soothing. Besides, Koldinghus is a very worthy choice, where radical architectural designs back up the old brick wall, new lifestyle merges well with the tradition. They even have a live performance show mimicking the old royal life.

The town itself is dull and unremarkable, completely lacking character. The main attraction is Legoland, which is truly worth recommending. The Lego House absolutely amazed me—we had planned to spend 4 hours there but ended up staying for more than 8. The area around the town is green, with pleasant campsites. I think it’s an interesting place for cycling trips, but I wouldn’t want to stay overnight in the city center.

A town with historical significance and many pearls within walking distance. For a couple of days, walk the pedestrian area, visit "Latinerhaven" and Skovgaard Museum with the works of "guldaldermaler" P.C. Skovgaards (and family) and continue to Domkirken and see the frescos made by his son. Domkirken has visible history back a 1000 years. Stroll the well preserved middle age cobble stone streets. Go to the Borgvold park at the lakes and enjoy the calmness. Nice restaurants e.g on "Nytorv" from traditional Danish ("Fru Thomsen") to Italian ("Kehlet"), and specialty shops (sour dough products at "Simpel Surdej" and beer tasting at "Viborg Bryghus" - note, only open on certain days)

Old timey city center with some half-timbered houses and generally traditional architecture. The streets are kinda narrow which gives you a comfy feeling. The rest of the city is very spaced out, however, which is to say everything is pretty distanced from each other which means you have to get used to walking, and the trainstation is 10-15 min walk from the city center. I think the best way to describe Randers is that the local H&M doesn't have a male section but they have a very modern cinema. Food was fine. 20 DKK beer at the old irish (Pilsner).
