The staff are great! They go above and beyond to accommodate your needs, the rooms are great, clean, comfortable, and themed with a beach theme, as its on Fanø island, and the breakfast, oh, man, the breakfast is amazing!     You rent your own apartment, which includes everything a family needs. My two kids and I were so pleased with it, and only sorry we only booked one night. My kids loved that in our unit their beds were in a loft. For those with mobility issues, there are many units on the ground floor, not to worry. There's a lovely kids playground on site. We loved the canal, which was frequented by ducks. So peaceful. We slept very well. The walk into Ribe is just a few minutes.

    Extremely charming old inn, in a fairy tale and UNESCO recognized village, with all modern facilities. Very convenient location as a way station when driving from the south of Europe to the north. The attic suite was very good indeed, and the spa bath just what was needed after a long drive. The restaurant is superb, and far exceeded our expectations - this was Michelin quality. Very pleasant and efficient staff.

    Odense has many attractions for young and old.

    Odense has many attractions for young and old. If you are a tea enthusiast, you must visit Perch's Tea House for tea and scones in an elegant setting. The Brandt Museum is not worth it unless you enjoy somewhat outrageous modern art including what looked like a dead dog on a small blanket. There are also some great side trips include Egiskov Castle and all the museums around it. The pedestrian zone in Odense has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and great people watching. We had a good tapas dinner and very poor sushi dinner, so a quick look at menus is highly recommended.

    The farm was everything we hoped for and more! We were so impressed with the family friendly environment, the comfortable apartment and we had everything we needed. We were treated so kindly and the owner went above and beyond to help us! We would highly recommend this location and would have stayed so much longer if we could have. Our kids cannot stop talking about our time at the Denmark Farm!

The city is not expensive and you can enjoy being in a not-so-well-known city without the commotion of tourists, but peacefully enjoying the vibe of Denmark

    Kolding is a small city, but blended with different dynamic ambiance, people of different diversities are living there. Convenient transportation, old and beautiful Danish buildings for artistic pleasure, a university (SDU) and a public library for intellectual enjoyment. Walking along the roads in the central part or wandering around the lake are always very soothing. Besides, Koldinghus is a very worthy choice, where radical architectural designs back up the old brick wall, new lifestyle merges well with the tradition. They even have a live performance show mimicking the old royal life.

    We visit Sønderborg quite often.

    We visit Sønderborg quite often. It's location at the Baltic Sea and close to the German border make it an attractive location for a day trip or weekend escape. The city center provides lots of shopping options and restaurants. We always enjoy walking along the habor promenade and along the beach.

    Nyborg until late 90 was a very busy train and car-ferry town. That changed with the completion of the Store Belt Bridge. My impression is that the town has been able to cope with these changes creating a lively newly build peripheral. The location with a waterfront in town center as well as beaches and forests further out are invaluable assets. Apart from that of course the Castle, a must see. Nyborg is a small town but rich in history, and a number of attractive beach front hotels.

    Svendborg is a lovely seaport with great seafood. During the summer the harbour is filled with many interesting old, wooden, sea craft and there are many restaurants and bars close by. A ferry to the neighbouring island of Æreø departs from the harbour every 1-2 hours. The small town of Ærøskøbing on this island is well worth a visit. This place is like something out of a Walt Disney movie.
