Good location and beautiful view. Just beware of the noise from the street - in case your room is on that side. Nice and relaxing outside roof bar and pools with a great view. Excellent food and drinks at the restaurant. Also got our laundry washed up without any charge. Really pleasant and helpful staff!

Quiet pool didn't visit, but other quests enjoyed. . 3 bars, beautiful swing bar, main bar, and second beach bar. Disco, again, great fun, bar inside the disco as well. Staff was helpful, engaging, and interactive. Really create a beautiful welcoming environment. Room, I was in the court, room 603, loved the room. Newly updated, great ac unit, mini fridge, desk, chairs. I didnt get the opportunity to view the bungalow, however; I'm sure they're beautiful! Next time for sure. Definitely returning customer, planning on revisiting at Christmas! MAY2023

    It was like an amusement park with lots of facilities. Even when there were a bit more people they opened stands with serving additional foods and coctails beside of the many restaurants and bars so you had always chance to eat and drink. You do not need to leave the hotel at all. They filled up the minibar whenever you called the reception. The lady at the beach pool served us continuously even if we had not asked her. The beach was very clean as they cleaned it up every day the leaves however when the wind was bigger the water was not capable for swim due to the many sea weeds in it. Compared to other hotels here was the nicest beach in this bay.

    I loved the place, the staff, the service, and the casita. The staff; Xiomara, Luis, Manuel, Rafael, and the american guy (dont remember his name) were extremelly helpful and display excellent customer service kills. Cleaning services were great. My observations: The casitas bathroom need some maintenance at the showers, we had a party of 3, but e everythig at the casita were for two. We notice that cleaning service were done in the morning, however someone went inside the casita later on without a notice.

    I imagine that the big resorts in Punta Cana are nice. The rest of the town is just a run down beach town geared for tourists. Poorly planned and even more poorly maintained. It's pretty much a smaller, dirtier version of Jacksonville, Florida.

    The colonial Zone of Santo Domingo is stunning, with a lot of Museums, A beautiful Cathedral, a very active nightlife, cafes, restaurants a so much. Perfect for walking and relaxing, very Bohemian vibe. Recomendations: Mosquito bar, La casa del ron with a stunning view of the Cathedral and Sabina with a very bohemian style. If you want a more modern vibe then stay in the Piantini district, With a lot of modern bars, restaurants like Sarah and a lot roof top around the city. and a very cosmopolitan vibe, however, be aware that the traffic is chaotic and stressful during peak hours. If you visit Santo Domingo please go to the beach, Close by Bocha Chica, A little bit far away but worth it is La Romana and Punta Cana.

    The entertainment staff made you feel welcomed. The dining was excellent. Great food and service. We were impressed. Thanks to the staff in the Rose Hall Dining area especially Darren and Trudy Ann. Rooms were kept clean and tidy. We enjoyed the karaoke too.

    Food was not good.

    Food was not good. Service at the Buffet could have been much better. Rooms need attention. Lights need to be brighter, fans need controls, our door lock needed repair to lock. No water pressure in sink. The resort was attractive & kept clean.

    It's a quaint little town.

    It's a quaint little town. All the restaurants are Italian or pizzerias. They were fair to good. The stores are interesting. It is a small village. We enjoyed exploring it, but there's not a huge amount there besides the souvenir shops, a few clothing stores, a few bars, a few coffee shops, and a few restaurants.

    Amazing!so many places to go and things to do. The local people were kind and friendly. There was no incident of violence or aggression throughout our stay. So many restaurants, well kept beaches and rivers. The streets were always clean. Traffic reasonable.

    Sad, overpriced and not very nice.

    Sad, overpriced and not very nice. A lot of rubbish everywhere. No local culture. Beaches were poor. Theres a view of a large powerstation from the beach. No good food available apart from ridiculously overpriced top-end restaurants. Very shabby and disappointing overall. A poor end to a disappointing trip to the Dominican Republic which these days feels like a rerirement haven for expats. We left feeling deflated.

    Las Terrenas is a lovely northern town on the Samana...

    Las Terrenas is a lovely northern town on the Samana peninsula. If you want a chilled out vibe, full of locals and nice easy access to different beaches then this is your place. I went as a solo female traveller and found it very good, generally safe, did not feel threatened which is important when you're alone. Plenty of places to eat, but I would do your research first. The food was good, but often the service at restaurants was not so good. Cheap prices. Margarita Bar - inexpensive, amazing quesadillas Gelateria Italiana Artesanal - cute ice cream parlour El Loro - great beach snacks Ristorante Pizzeria Nonna Teresa - a fab family run italian with fresh pasta El Lugar - full options and good tapas style food Boulangerie Francaise - a cute bakery Empanadas y Más - didn't try, but known to have the best empanadas Pizza Coco - go-to amazing cheap delicious pizza Super Mercado Lindo - closest large supermarket if you want options 20-30 min walk or you can get a taxi/bike. Easiest ways to get around if you don't want to rent a drive is the men that drive the scooters, they all wear yellow high vis jackets so that you know they are safe, you pay them anywhere between $200-500 pesos equivalent to $3 for a short ride from A>B. But the dune buggies and quad bikes are popular for tourists to use. I highly recommend getting to see Limon Waterfalls, and I did a day trip to visit 4 secluded beaches. Waterfall tours by Flora Tours. Beaches tours by OBISPO ATM - very good value! Out of the beaches tried, Playa Las Ballenas was the calmest, but nice waters and quieter vibe to Punta Popy.     My air bnb was so close to everything, and uber worked in Kingston, which allowed me to get about quickly & safely. The air BnB was very clean, and exceeded my expectations. The host was also very informative and helpful.
