- From US$179.42 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 90 reviewsOasis", i had an idea and picture in my mind of the meaning of this word before our trip. After our trip, i can truly say i found a little gem of a diversparadise in Marsa Alam. From arriving in the airport to saying goodbye at the end of our trip, we were greeted with so much warmth, kindness and professionalism that will blow your mind totally in the positive way 😁 The hotel, a collection of little houses with seaview, and opendeck restaurant give you the feeling of being in a tiny community, actually divefamily. Food is buffetstyle in the morning and evening and even possible for lunch. We chose a la carte for lunch. Always tasty, never blend or boring and even spicy is an option 😉 We stayed 7 nights and were never offered the same dish twice. Divecenter I have dived all over the globe and can honestly say that this divecenter exceeds all expectations. Very personal and professional service: top notch briefings, enthousiastic and kind guides, helpfulness of all the divepersonel (in house and after dives), decent equipement and so on... A big thank you to all of you @ Oasis, i had an amazing holiday and hope to be back some day!Guest review byHettyBelgium
- From US$133.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 725 reviewsThe Marina Resort Port Ghalib is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are beautiful, the location of our room was excellent as we could walk directly from our terrace to the small pool. The location is perfect, close to the airport but there’s no hindrance from planes at all. The man behind the reception (Mr. F.) was exceptionally nice to us. We stayed here a few days before and after our boat trip. So when we got back after the boat trip, he gave us the same room and a good deal on our upgrade so we could enjoy the buffet dinner in the evening. The buffet diner with a different theme every night was very good! We loved the food, and the service of the men (Mahmoud and M Akram) bringing drinks and cleaning the tables. Breakfast is excellent as well. Then of course we were very happy with Eid, who not only cleaned our room, but left a wonderful artwork of towels (shaped as swans) and flowers on our beds; and placed a bunch of flowers in a glass on our side table. He was a very kind man! If we return to Egypt, we would certainly stay in this hotel again. Thanks for everything, Astrid & CorineGuest review byCorineNetherlands
- From US$155.65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 556 reviewsThanks for the warm welcome! All resort staff are friendly and always ready to help. Special thanks to Mr. Korashi (manager on reception), Mr.Ahmed( manager of the restaurant), Mr.Osman( chef cook). The hotel Three Corners Happy Life is located on the first line from the sea. From the pontoon you can observe a beautiful underwater world that amazes with a variety of fish, and of course corals. The territory of the resort is well-groomed, a lot of greenery to trees. The hotel offers all inclusive. The cuisine, very tasty and varied with many fruits and sweets. Everyone will find their corner of happiness at the Three Corners Happy Life Resort 😊 Thank you! And I hope to see you soon! Olga OdessaGuest review byOlgaUkraine

"I did not leave the grounds of the Iberotel Costa Marès.
"I did not leave the grounds of the Iberotel Costa Marès. There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen. Everything is put in place so that you only want to do one thing... come back as quickly as possible."Guest review byValérie LannoyBelgium - 10.0

Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.Guest review byRoseUnited States - 8.0
Nice place to stay for one week if the weather is OK.
Nice place to stay for one week if the weather is OK. Very good place for snorkeling or you can watch coral reef directly in the harbor without being wet. Just bring slice of bead and you will see a lot.Guest review byDavidCzech Republic - 10.0
Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing.
Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere. No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels. Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.Guest review byMennaEgypt - 10.0

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))Guest review byAnnie RuurdsSouth Africa - 4.0
The sea was beautiful.
The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.Guest review byRolandSwitzerland - 8.0

I mentioned everything in my review, what I liked and didn’t...
I mentioned everything in my review, what I liked and didn’t like. Mainly, I noticed that someone bought a quad bike tour, and they were taken just a little way behind the hotel to ride on a pile of sand for a short while. There was trash and plastic all around, a complete wasteland—nothing pretty. I’m used to greenery, which I understand is lacking in this destination, but I definitely wouldn’t buy an overpriced camel or quad bike tour. Especially because, in that heat, it wouldn’t be an enjoyable experience for me, and with the trash around, definitely not. I did a diving trip, but it ended up being canceled. Unfortunately, they made us leave our things (like backpacks) in a place where locals were moving around, and we had no way to secure them. The original plan was that we would be on a boat. In the end, it didn’t happen, and that was probably for the best. I booked the trip through Booking. I had no particular expectations, even though we were supposed to see dolphins. Eventually, I arranged for diving, and I enjoyed it. Since I’m already a diver, it was easy, but when I saw how they even turn diving into a business, it bothered me. I saw parents forcing their 12-year-old daughter to try diving. She was crying, didn’t want to do it, but the father insisted because it was paid for. I watched her struggle and feel uncomfortable. It saddens me to see that everything can be bought with money, and that’s just wrong.Guest review bySmile08Czech Republic - 10.0
We were in Casa Mare Resort super happy.
We were in Casa Mare Resort super happy. We came with our 3 years old daughter so we really appreciate that they have 3 very warm pools. 2 of them are huge and with a bar in it and the third very warm pool is safe for small kids who can't swim yet. Also Casa Mare has a big playground in the shade for kids. Aleso few hours per day is open Kids club with a really nice girl from the animation team. All of them are doing a very good job. Always trying to cheer you up all day long with animation programs. We came without a traveling agency and we haven't any agent, so people in recepcion were always helpful and nice. You can easily ask them about everything through WhatsApp. Food was amazing. Chefs are doing a great job. Choice of food was huge and delicious. Casa Mare has a lagoon with shallow clear water, hot in summer and also bridge to reef. Reef is big and rich in many kinds of fish. You don't need to pay any trips to snorkeling, it's right there. Place is also very good for kite surfing in winter. I was surprised how big our room was and we had a view on the pool and sea. I loved that. We always had the same man for cleaning. Every day he made our room super clean and tidy and when we met him in the hall it was always fun with him. Our daughter loved him, because every day he made for her animals from towels. We are definitely coming back. This place where our 4th hotel in Egypt and Casa Mare Resort was best from tham. Thank you all personal for a wonderful holiday.Guest review byDominikaCzech Republic
