Banana Garden has exceeded all my expectations. It is a very new, well decorated, comfortable, clean and quiet hotel. The location couldn't be better. 5 minutes from the beach, walking distance from the main landmarks in Santa Cruz and surrounded by many restaurants and shops.The staff is incredibly kind, approachable and supportive. And for a fair price they serve delicious cocktails and hot beverages that you can have in the wee cozy cafe besides the reception, or on the rooftop while enjoying the stunning views over Santa Cruz beach. They also offer complimentary breakfast with a good range of fresh fruit and both savory and sweet options.I have absolutely loved this place and I have no doubts that I will stay there again if I am lucky to come back to La Palma.

    It's just a fantastic place to stay at as a family! The hotel facilities are awesome: 2 pools (1 with loads of inflatable toys and balls and younameit for kids to play with new found friends all day long, 1 quiet pool for those who want to relax), a bowling alley, trampolines, playground, kids animation, etc all set in a beautiful setting. The hotel grounds are ample, no tall buildings, plants everywhere. The breakfast and dinner buffets are very diverse and appease everyone's appetite. The family rooms are massive (63m2). The small beach of Mogan is just a few minutes easy walk away, with beach bars and activities, as is the picturesque port with it's smalll restaurants. Mogan is a lovely small and charming place, in contrast to other tourist towns like Puerto Rico or Maspalomas with their huge hotel bunkers.

    Puerto de la Cruz is the nicest city on the Island.

    Puerto de la Cruz is the nicest city on the Island. It has that wonderfully built Lago Martináez, where you could swim, whatever high waves were on the ocean. The seaside promenade is beautiful, full of stores and restaurants. It is easy to get around. Also very good place for shopping is the Martiánez Shopping Centre, which is very close to the hotel and has good quality clothes and food in Mercadona.

    The area is perfect for all ages It is desired by adults for the wonderful view it offers. The long walks with the different terraces that invite you are a dream. The important thing is that the beach is public everywhere and is not private. Accommodations have very good prices. 4-star hotels are around 120 euros per night. For young people there is nightlife with parties on the seashore. Food is for all tastes. - there are higher prices for quality food as well as lower prices. The menu of the day costs 13 euros.

    The strip is a bit like Southend on steroids for bars and restaurants. Service has always been good in any place we have been in El Kiosk is a must for cheap drinks and people watching, seats are limited though, there are plenty of other little bars too, so don't just frequent the one Overall feels very safe and generally very clean. The experience changes from one end of the "strip" to the other. Airport end bit quieter, in the middle bit more noisy, middle to Mercodona bit nosier and hectic, Harbour end and the atmosphere becomes quieter again.

I WOULD SAY THAT IT IS A YOUNGER FEEL COMPARED TO CALETA AND IS PERFECT FOR COUPLES AND FAMILIES/GROUPS. MUSIC SQUARE WAS A BIT BUSY FOR US BUT WE DID GO TO LA TAHONA WHERE WE ENJOYED THE BEST STEAK DINNER BUT I WOULD RECOMMEND BOOKING AS THEY ARE ALWAYS BUSY. THE RE ARE GREAT BARS AND EATERIES AROUND THE HARBOUR AREA WE LOVED THE BARACUDA BAR AND ENJOYED WATCHING THE SUNSET WITH A COCKTAIL.

    Very nice town for family holiday, you can find all you want, hotels, beaches, restaurants, markets, palms, there are interesting places close to town, like Palmitos Park, harbour in Puerto Rico, Poema del Mar in Las Palmas. Only one problem is to find parking place near sea and avoid car towage by local police :-)

    Tenerife is a botanical jewel!!!

    Tenerife is a botanical jewel!!! People is amazing, really kind and always eager to help you. There are so much to do in the island, beach, mountain, parks, excursions...anything you want!! And the temperature is always lovely.

    Lovely resort , 3 main areas so a little spread out but...

    Lovely resort , 3 main areas so a little spread out but taxis are cheap so getting around is easy. A little quieter than Puerto Del Carmen but busier than Costa Teguise. 25 minute journey from airport and lots of Excellent restaurants and bars would definitely visit again
