Lovely small boutique hotel close to the castle, beach, shops and restaurants. As we were there in low season we were able to park for free in front of the hotel. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The decor was lovely, blues and white in keeping with being close to the sea.

The hotel was a lovely old style hotel in amongst some much bigger apartment type blocks. The room was lovely and couldn’t fault anything. Quiet area of the town and a really lovely walk along seafront to the castle and main town. Both of the staff we spoke to were so friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to stay there. Just sorry we couldn’t of stayed longer.

    This camping site is amazing, so well organised, the pool is clean and looked after, the chalets are so clean, great layout and well equipped (including air conditioning unit). The outside looks like paradise, so many tropical plants, it’s so green (some plants smell beautifully at night)! The beach nearby is mostly rocky, but my children enjoyed so much snorkelling there all day, watching fish and marina life. We saw amazing giant jellyfish, it was stunning! We were sad to leave but hopefully we will be returning next year! I highly recommend this camping place! Thank you for this amazing experience!

    The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and clean! The view from the balcony was perfect, and the beach was walking distance from the hotel. A massive thank you to Carla for sorting out a taxi to take us to the airport after booking.com cancelled our reservation less than two hours before the pick up time. Overall the stay was perfect, the food was good and the facilities were more than enough for what we needed.

    The hotel has a perfect connection located right by the sea—lots of attractions for adults and children. I used the SPA and massagers ( highly recommended).The two ladies in SPA were very nice, and made me feel relaxed and comfortable like in my own home. The room was large, with comfortable beds and a beautiful terrace.

    The old town was great in the evenings. The castle and gardens a great place to visit especially around sunset. So many places to eat and drink. We also loved the beach and the whole place friendly and welcoming.

    Castellón is a very pleasant town with many small piazzas decorated with modern sculptures and plants. There is a good choice of lively bars and restaurants. We left the car in the hotel underground car park and walked everywhere. The old town is traffic free, with electric buses.

    Highly recommended !!!!!! Oropesa del Mar is a wonderful, very clean, safe city with few amazing beaches! It’s a very nice place to spend your holiday! Easy acces from Castellón airport ( also from Valencia airport) I followed in love with Oropesa del Mar !! ❤️

    Lovely place and there are a lot of restaurants where you get to eat local known dishes as well as try something new. People are very welcoming and nice. It´s a bit difficult to get there without a car but definitely worth it.

    Vinaros is a typical old spanish town of narrow streets and private shops. It does have very good underground parking facilities though. The promenade, (passeo maritimo) is one of the best we have ever seen, anywhere in Spain! Lined with some excellent restaurants. Backing equally fabulous beaches. So for beach and sea lovers, this is a great location

    It is a very pleasant city. For those who look for tranquility and normal prices, it is the best choice. The climate there is mild, so even the days with high temperatures are livable. Good local food, especially at the Mercat. The location allows for trips or excursions to other places around. water and beaches in the near proximity

    The people was amazing warm friendly and helpful. found some nice places to eat and drink 6 large beers 10 euro tapas at 3 euro a dish. no language problem 90% spoke English to my sadness and embarrassment that I could not speak Spanish. Bar Restaurant Rincon, Carrer la Vall d'Uixó, Nules, Spain Good food warm atmosphere helpful and cheap 3euros a dish taberna taurina pza doctor maranon 1 12005 castellon excellent food not cheap 18E 15E 12E per dish.     Lovely walk along the beach front to the quaint old town and castle. Beaches were clean and tidy with beach bars on the sand and umbrella shades / beds for those that want them. So much choice for where to eat / drink. Very family friendly.

    The best thing to enjoy in the region is the Trilha Via...

    The best thing to enjoy in the region is the Trilha Via Verde Del Mar: Benicassim - Oropesa, a very popular trail for road biking, running, and walking. It was really nice in May even though they say the best times to visit the trail are July through April. Castellón de la Plana itself doesn't have a lot to offer compared to Valencia for example. A day would be plenty of time to visit.
