The first is the location. A stone's throw from all attractions. Cathedral right outside the window. The second is the concept. The hotel and the winery are one. We loved the hotel. The staff were great and the food was outstanding. We took part in some of the daytime activities and watched some evening entertainment. Both great. Cleanliness was outstanding. Room very comfortable with a lovely view of the beach. The snacks and drinks from the pool side bar were lovely. We didn't use the indoor pool or spa but it looked nice. We were allowed to use the showers to get changed in the evening ready for our late flight. Thank you.

We loved Cádiz, it has such a great history, lovely lanes to...

We loved Cádiz, it has such a great history, lovely lanes to stroll around, beautiful buildings, interesting and individual shops, really excellent food in the restaurants and bars and very reasonable prices, we especially liked the Mercado de Abastos and the gourmet area tapas bars around the outside, friendly nice, buzzy but relaxing atmosphere. We had a walking tour on our first full day there which made our stay even more enjoyable with an excellent guide. We parked the car in an underground car park on arrival and didn't need to use it again as everywhere was in easy walking distance. We are hoping to return soon.

In the central district, by the market and Alcazar, Jerez is a vibrant, safe, friendly city with lots to do. We had an evening stroll from plaza to plaza - it's full of shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and tapas spots and families having fun. Our favourite tapas bar was Tabanco las Banderillas - which you have to queue to get into as it's full of locals and the food is excellent and great value. (But like most places you need to choose carefully - e.g. we don't like sweetbreads or tripe! We love fresh fish, seafood and they do a great chicken dish with lemon and oregano.) The sherry houses are great to visit and the tastings are fun. There are also the usual castles, churches etc if you like that sort of thing.

Tarifa is a beautiful vibrant Town Lots of fabulous bars and restaurants Lots to do The béaches are amazing If you want a trip to Morocco the Ferry Léaves from here With in à few km you çan visit some beautiful Andalucian villages Well Worth a visit We had a fabulous meal in the Pescaderia at the Harbour Tapas in the mercado

A wonderful town in two parts - the beach and the town -...

A wonderful town in two parts - the beach and the town - around 15 mins drive away. We were there in October and it didn't feel too crowded, but both the beach area and the town were vibrant and full of life. Surrounding countryside provides several lovely walks, public transport was good and prices reasonable. We will be back.

It was a tired and old town with many dilapidated buildings many of the bars and cafes did not open untill lunchtime making it difficult to get a coffee. The ferry to Cadiz was very cheap and Cadiz was well worth the visit

Algeciras has some beautiful parts, in the old city the Moorish architecture is really quite something. There are some rougher parts sure, as with any large port town. But I found it safe, the people friendly and the food was great, especially El Taller restaurant. Nearby beach Playa el Rinconcillo was fine. But Algeciras isn't like some beautiful Mediterranean coasted resort destination, it's a fairly gritty Spanish port with some beautiful architecture and passable beaches, cheap and cheerful with easy access to TARIFA where you can get a ferry to Tangiers and visit nearby roman ruins or visit very nearby Gibraltar.

My stay included visits to the sites Huelva has to offer but also trips away from it to explore Palos de la Frontera, Rabida, and Moguer--all places with strong connections to Christopher Columbus's voyages to the Western Hemisphere. These other places filled in a lot of history unknown to me before about him and others from the area who accompanied him on his voyages. I took public transportation within Huelva using its city bus system and out to Palos de la Frontera and Rabida.

The old town is beautifull with plenty of local people and spaniards from diffrent reagions of Spain. Not too many tourist is good news. There are delicious and trendy restaurants and tapas bars. Medina Sidonia palace is marvelous and the Church of Notre Dane of Ó, a pearl of architecture from spain, has a sweet lady guide (and very well informed).

Stunning town with a ridiculous amount of excellent bars and restaurants serving top quality food at a fraction of the price you would pay in the UK. Very Spanish (obviously) and everyone super friendly and accommodating. Lots to see and do around and not far from Cádiz. You do need a car which you can park for free at the bottom of the town and then walk up - it is incredible hilly and steep so proper shoes recommended! Beautiful main plaza with fountain and tapas places and restaurants. Highly recommend.
