Gorgeous, well-preserved hillside town worth exploring. So few tourists, we couldn't believe it! We explored the castle and cathedral and were the only people there most of the time! The town can be over full in August so try to plan for earlier or later in the year. The walks are still delightful in August and not too busy. It is probably best to shop in Valderrobres before you get to Beceite or bring food or pre book restaurants. Beautiful country village, narrow streets, stone buildings, exceptionally clean. Perfect for walkers and dog owners and those seeking a real Spanish experience.
