- From US$102.94 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 617 reviewsThis is the second time I have visited Melilla. Before that I didn't have the opportunity to stay at the Parador De Melilla, I stayed at another hotel. But I kept walking and walking up the hill and into the grounds of the Parador De Melilla to see the magnificent view of the city itself, the port and the sea. A few years later, I decided to visit Melilla again. This time I stayed at the Parador De Melilla hotel. When I made my booking, I asked to be accommodated on the top floor. Unfortunately, I was accommodated on the 3rd floor out of 6. The view from the window and the balcony was stunning. The panoramic view of the city and the nearby park was excellent. Partial view of the port and the sea. The room is spacious. The bathroom is large. There is a small fridge. One slight drawback might be that the staff don't speak English at all or only partially, so for non-Spanish speakers this could be a personal disaster. The restaurant has an „A LA CARTE“ catering system and the menu is only in Spanish, so it was a bit of a vacuum from the start, as I didn't even know how to ask for food or get a cup of tea at breakfast. The same situation with not knowing the language happened during dinner. All sorts of translation apps on my phone came to the rescue. So the very next day I went to breakfast with a small baggage of Spanish words: omelette – „TORTILLA“, water – „AGUA“, and at dinner I asked for fish – „PESCADO“, vanilla ice-cream – „HELADO DE VAINILLA“, orange juice – „ZUMO DE NARANJA“, and what is most important, I was served everything and it was all delicious. Thank you to the wonderful hotel staff.Guest review byVALDEMARASLithuania

An interesting place with musea, shops and beaches. Plenty of food choices for the foodies with very reasonable prices. Book a table at La Legion on Saturday or Sunday for amazing local fresh food, plenty of fish and meat choices. Melilla la vieja is definitely worth to exploreGuest review byMartienUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The moderno architecture is very interesting!
The moderno architecture is very interesting! This is a very nice town to stay one day and one night on your way to Marocco. It's very easy to cross the border and take a shared taxi to Nador. Not shure I would go here and back fron Spain. Take the plane from Malaga by the way. If you are really into architecture you might want to stay longer and even get some litterature or a guide. Food and transportation is cheap.Guest review byAndreas
