The most amazing thing about the hotel was the view from the room's balcony - we didn't see anything but the ocean, it was stunning! Very private balcony, didn't see the other balconies, it was just us and the ocean. The hotel pool was lovely, as well as the rooftop bar with jacuzzis. Room was clean and we especially liked the spacious bathroom with cool sinks made of stone. You could even see the ocean from the bathroom if you wanted. Comfortable bed, the room even had a microwave & kettle.

The hospitality was excellent and friendly, you felt like you were part of the family and it was your home. We had never felt that way before. We had booked three separate rooms but had the whole complex to ourselves. The hosts had a BBQ party on Christmas Eve with food, drinks and music, it was a great experience and we miss them, we will definitely choose this beautiful place every time we visit Tenerife. The hotel is located in a small mountain town called Arona, about 13 minutes by car from the city. Everything was great and thanks to Diego and Elvador and all the nice staff.

It’s also very central and even though we were here at Christmas we always found parking. La Laguna is the best place to be in Tenerife and this hotel is the best place to be in La Laguna.

Fun and Sun All Year Round

The largest of the Canary Islands, Tenerife has sun, sand and sangria all year round. Its landscape is dominated by volcanic Mount Teide, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose peak is covered by snow. There are fabulous views over Tenerife and the surrounding islands from the cable car that takes you up.

However, most visitors flock to the island for its beaches. The most exclusive area is Costa Adeje, home to most 5-star hotels in Tenerife. It also houses Aqualand waterpark with waterslides, pools and a dolphinarium, while next door Playa de las Americas boasts Siam Park – Europe’s largest waterpark.

This resort is the island’s party capital and features a large number of Tenerife hotels with swimming pools, and a wealth of bars and restaurants. Adjoining Los Cristianos also has a long, sandy beach.

The southern Tenerife beaches are actually artificial, made from white sand imported from the Sahara Desert, because the natural ones are black sand. Tenerife resorts with just such a beach include Puerto de la Cruz and Los Gigantes, which is dramatically sheltered by sheer cliffs.

    Location is perfect. Close to a few beaches in a walking distance. Also close to the nightlight and shops. Compared to other hotels, it had a lot of entertainment at the pools but was not that noisy. Breakfast and Dinner was great. Had a lot of options to choose from so even if I disliked a dish, there was plenty to choose from. All the staff was nice, from the receptionist to the waiters at the restaurant and the cook! Beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the showers great. Recommended!

    This felt like a human settlement on a moon. We decided to treat ourselves with two nights in this hotel and it was exactly as pampering as I hoped. Enormous comfortable bed, clean rooms, nice small swimming pool and sauna. Delicious breakfast choices. With a view of Teide on top. Really charming place. If you are not familiar with the concept of “Paradores”, I recommend reading something about it online. It is fascinating project of the Spanish government, dating almost 100 years back.

    Puerto de la Cruz is the nicest city on the Island.

    Puerto de la Cruz is the nicest city on the Island. It has that wonderfully built Lago Martináez, where you could swim, whatever high waves were on the ocean. The seaside promenade is beautiful, full of stores and restaurants. It is easy to get around. Also very good place for shopping is the Martiánez Shopping Centre, which is very close to the hotel and has good quality clothes and food in Mercadona.

    The area is perfect for all ages It is desired by adults for the wonderful view it offers. The long walks with the different terraces that invite you are a dream. The important thing is that the beach is public everywhere and is not private. Accommodations have very good prices. 4-star hotels are around 120 euros per night. For young people there is nightlife with parties on the seashore. Food is for all tastes. - there are higher prices for quality food as well as lower prices. The menu of the day costs 13 euros.

    We stayed 4 nights in LC and 7 nights in Adeje. LC- It’s gone down hill. Streets are tired. People begging. One gentleman I spoke to had his gold chain ripped off his neck in broad daylight while walking with his family. (He was with his wife, daughter and grandson). Wouldn’t go back to LC- Adeje is far more upmarket, nicer and safer. Stayed in Gran Tacande

    GREAT VENUE, LOTS OF GOOD RESTAURANTS AND BARS. GREAT TO BE IN THE SPANISH QUARTER RATHER THAN THE TOURIST PART. CHINA TOWN CHINESE AND FETTUCCINI SPANISH/ITALIAN RESTAURANTS EXCELLENT. GOOD BARS AT LEGENDS FOR LIVE SPORT AND BLARNEY STONE FOR LATE NIGHT MUSIC.

    The city consists of three parts.

    The city consists of three parts. The historic part with beautiful and charming streets. The villa part with beautiful gardens, trees, houses, and the part where people live tightly and where the most is happening. Lots of street culture, lots of cultural attractions. Lots of opportunities for good food.

    As my husband is not very mobile, El Medano is ideal as it is mainly flat and easy to walk. There is a wooden boardwalk along the sea front. Restaurants, shops a large square and a childrens' play area are all within easy reach.

    A lot of nice beaches with restaurants and bars for all ages, starting point to El Teide mountain, close to airport, the city is very clean and neat. Big disadvantage is public car parking, it's very hard to find some, so we parked in underground garages, which cost more than the rental fee itself.
