We stayed at Hotel Estimar for 12 days and were very satisfied with our experience. The service was excellent, and we would like to extend a special thanks to Helena, Ferdinando, Javier, Lucia, Paloma, Hamza, and the lifeguard at the pool, Oskar, who did an outstanding job. The food is very tasty, the rooms are clean, and everyone is kind and strives to resolve any issues you might have. The hotel is definitely worth 5 stars. You receive a free beach bag, hat, umbrella, and free transportation to Valencia multiple times a day. Everything is perfect. Gracias Olga and Ivan

It is a perfect place for the child!!! It has two pools , Restaurants, activities,super funny place !!! Also it has a supermarket and you can rent bikes! We slept in cocoa bungalows and they even have a Nespresso ,in one of the pool there are a lot of funny slides

brilliant. It was a great hotel although, it was near the main road you couldnt hear anything. You had your own private garage, if you ordered room service they used a service hatch so you didn't need to open the door a perfect getaway for couples

I was in Valencia for the marathon, probably wouldn't have...

I was in Valencia for the marathon, probably wouldn't have gone there otherwise to be honest. Vegan food wasn't too easy, so we had food at the apartment. Metro was excellent, although an easier metro connection to the Arts and Sciences area would have been good, airport metro excellent service though. The Aquarium was the best spot, then the Science museum. Had to save some energy in the legs for the marathon though, could have done more.

Benidorm often gets a bad rap - often from people that have never been there. We went there twice this year, From our perspective, we always felt safe at any time of the day or night. The strip area can seem a little rough at night but we experienced nothing but friendly people on it - particularly British revellers - they were all kind, friendly and easy to get along with. Benidorm is a massive resort - the strip area is less that 1% of it - there is lots to do elsewhere for everyone. Both beaches and promenades are beautiful and well equipped - ideal for a morning walk. The Old town is beautiful and buzzing with locals and tourists and everyone seemed happy! There are over 1000 restaurants and 2000 bars in Benidorm - food and drinks are really cheap - at least 50% lower prices than Ireland or the UK. We plan to return in the near future.

Castellón is a very pleasant town with many small piazzas decorated with modern sculptures and plants. There is a good choice of lively bars and restaurants. We left the car in the hotel underground car park and walked everywhere. The old town is traffic free, with electric buses.

Wonderful beach with many and varied places to eat and drink perfect for all ages and seemed to be okay for getting around if you had a disability - usual people going around trying to sell you ‘stuff’ but if you are polite they will move on.

We visited Peniscola for the months of May and October. IMPRESSIVE Castle, long easy walking on the beachfront, plenty of tapas and beer and some great eating particularly "El Porton". (May & October).Fantastic Flamenco dancing at "El Pescador Ermitano"(May.) Three good supermarkets and some good bakeries. The beach is long, sandy and the sea is shallow. Peniscola is quiet in May/October and if you are expecting "Full English" or British type bars then you will be disappointed. Good bus service to Valencia, Tarragona, Vinaross. We loved it and will return.

Friendly safe atmosphere in the town, lovely little streets, Castle is beautiful, unfortunately it was out of season, so coffee shop, gift shop, activities not available. Would recommend drive to Javea also.

Ibis will be the great hotel if it do not have couple of problems. The problem with the location is easy to solve with good working metro. Another problem is more serious. It is the continental breakfast. This option proposed on the hotel's web site only for $7 per person per day. If you decide to purchase it in the hotel after the arrival, it will be cost $11 daily for you. All another required services are regular in the hotel.

The town has some lovely parks and tree lined avenues. Central Elche was easy to get into, the town is built on a grid system. We stayed near Placa Glorieta, a very interesting area with plenty of shops and a variety of good restaurants. Well worth a visit. We ate at a fantastic Italian restaurant in the square We would certainly go back again.

Gandia beach and local surroundings was enjoyable part of the Gandia. Any other part seemed very lonely and noticed fewer people on the streets. I talked to local people in the grocery shop and they told me that season is nearly over but it's a very good time in summer. Good thing about Gandia is a good transport option train and bus where travelling becomes easy and affordable and quicker to Alicante or Valencia. Gandia is more peaceful city which is located nearby the sea and mother nature but I'd recommend honestly to travel by car. Otherwise I should go about 5 km till Gandia train station but can catch a bus Line 2 and paid for journey €1.70 one way. After all I'm in Gandia to enjoy peace and quiet holidays. It's 19th October 2025 and only few businesses are still opened and majority shops, cafes, bars and restaurants are closed and will be opened next year as soon as season starts.
