I have been fortunate enough to travel the world for over 20 years, but I have never experienced a welcome as warm and genuine as the one I received here. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel like family. Every person was so kind, attentive, and always ready to help—not in a pushy way, but with a quiet, thoughtful presence that made us feel truly at home. There was no pressure to buy anything or do anything we didn’t want to; they were simply there for us, whenever we needed them. What truly stood out was the sense of connection and authenticity. It wasn’t just about being guests in a resort—it was about becoming part of a community. We spent hours chatting, laughing, and learning about each other’s cultures. Everything felt natural, and we became more than just visitors—we became friends. Our kids felt completely embraced by the local people. They roamed freely around the resort, playing and interacting with the community, which gave us the true Fijian experience we were hoping for. The genuine warmth and acceptance we felt here are something we will cherish forever. I have to mention the unforgettable moment when they sang us a goodbye song. It was the first time in my life I almost cried when leaving a place, not because of the departure itself, but because of the beautiful people who had made our stay so special. You could tell that their kindness was not just part of their job, but a reflection of who they truly are. They made us feel so valued, never once making us feel like we were asking for too much. My dear Fijian friends, you truly exceeded all our expectations. We would come back in a heartbeat if we didn’t live so far away. But as they say, “never say never.” My son, Filip, already said that when he grows up, he will bring his family back to this paradise. Thank you again for giving us 5 unforgettable days. We miss you already. Ema, Filip, Tomaz & Petra

Experiencing Ravita Cove was nothing short of magical. Nestled on an isolated island, it felt like being welcomed into a family rather than just a guest. With only two rooms, the intimate setting allowed for a truly personalized experience. Cookie and his team were the epitome of hospitality, ensuring every moment was filled with warmth and care. The food was exceptional, adding to the overall delight of the stay. From sunset hikes to lovo nights with kava, cave explorations, and snorkeling adventures, every activity felt like a cherished memory in the making. The team's genuine kindness and abundance of humor made the entire stay feel like a dream. Ravita Cove is not just a place to stay; it's an experience to treasure for a lifetime. The location, food, staff, and facilities were all amazing! It was nice being able to order your meal from a menu rather than relying on a buffet. It's a small resort (I believe only 4 rooms were open during our stay) so depending on the length of your visit you become quite familiar with the staff - all of which were brilliant! There is a range of both free and paid activities on offer, as well as kayaks and snorkels available for use free of charge. We had some pretty terrible weather during our stay but were still able to get out for a snorkel (which was very good) between downpours, and the activities guys were always more than happy to take us out to some great snorkeling spots for free. Drinks were reasonably priced from the restaurant, and there is a small selection of snacks and general items available for purchase from the office. Wi-Fi works well at the restaurant but operates off the cellular network so may have periods where it drops out during inclement weather. There are some massive mango trees throughout the resort that produce the most delicious mangos I've ever eaten, highly recommend! Overall, a fantastic experience and would not hesitate to recommend to others or to stay again in the future.

We did a long tour of all islands in the Yasawas, and Paradise Cove is on a short list of the very best. Of course, as it is a higher end resort, expectations were also high, but the place met them easily. The property is located on a beautiful island where the beach and water entry / water level is just perfect, regardless of high tide / low tide. One thing they don't say and they should advertise is the amazing coral reef they have just steps in the water. This was easily comparable with things we saw on boat trips. So definetlly a very big plus. Then the restaurants, they have two, and we loved them both . Magic breakfasts at the main restaurant in the gentle sun light or romantic dinners at Donu . Unforgetable memories . The team has some of the best people we met in Fiji and we felt very welcomed. Special greetings to Nebz , hope you get the message, the first steps with Scuba were very helpful, thank you.

My wife and I chose Six Senses Fiji for part of our honeymoon, having experienced other Six Senses resorts. The Fijian property, however, was truly outstanding. Every staff member radiated warmth and friendliness. Our GEM was particularly wonderful, seamlessly coordinating all our desired activities. Accommodation: We stayed in the Hideaway Pool Villa. The expansive space boasts a private pool, lush garden, and ultra-comfy beds. Cuisine: Breakfasts were satisfying, and while they might not outshine some larger resorts, the staff's willingness to customize is commendable. Our lunch and dinner experiences were generally pleasant, with a mix of set menus and à la carte options. A bit more variety might enhance the longer stays, though. Everything was very fresh. Activities: The resort offers a mix of complimentary and chargeable activities. I'd highly recommend the surfing – the instructors are top-notch! Also, don't miss out on Cloud 9; it's a quick boat ride away and a must-visit. Insights: The expansive resort does cater to families, yet its sheer size ensures privacy. For families, the available nanny service is an excellent touch. For couples, I don't think you will be disturbed. Value: Considering the premium nature of an island resort, the value resonates at about 8-9/10. It's a five-star experience, and the pricing reflects that. Final Thoughts: Six Senses Fiji captivated us with its charm, outstanding service, and dedicated team. Special mention to the GM, whose dedication to the resort and its guests is evident. Heartfelt thanks for making our honeymoon an unforgettable experience!

The room is large and comfortable, safe and quiet. The garden landscape is gorgeous. There are birds and frogs; you can feel their protection of the environment, get close to nature, and relax. The meals are delicious, and choosing tomorrow's meals in advance every day does not waste food, but you can always eat what you want - which is very good. The massage is also fantastic :D Although on the island, at least two free activities are arranged daily, the activities are different daily. In addition, there are also paid activities. There is also a shop inside the resort, so you won't be bored after a few days. Most people will participate in scuba diving, which is one of their specialties, especially the shark feeding dive, which is impressive. Definitely, it is worth spending a few days here. However, you have to plan ahead, their dives are every day, but the world-level shark feeding is only Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Resort accommodation and spending are not cheap, but you can feel your money is worth it. The events at the resort always surprise us; we are treated to fresh coconut water and a free ten-minute foot massage. I hope to return and stay more days - 2 nights are too short!

We stayed at Sheraton Resort & Spa Takariki Island Fiji in...

We stayed at Sheraton Resort & Spa Takariki Island Fiji in early September for 6 nights with my partner. Our room had a garden view and was equipped with everything we needed, though it could use a light renovation. Housekeeping was done daily, with linen changed every three days. Complimentary water was provided at 0.5L per person per day. The resort grounds are absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the ocean and the island, especially from the dining area. The staff were always warm and welcoming. A special thank you to Irene for her hospitality and support, as well as to the recreation team and the chef for the delicious meals, which is impressive considering the challenges of island logistics. Service in the restaurants was slower than we are used to – sometimes lunch took 40 minutes to an hour – but this seems to be the island pace, so patience is needed. The all-inclusive package took us a couple of days to fully understand. Breakfast buffet was included, lunch was à la carte with a choice of two courses, and dinner offered three courses à la carte or buffet (on some days), plus the option of dining at the excellent Indian restaurant, Kukuima, which we highly recommend. The pool was great, and the highlight of our stay was the snorkelling. You can already see fish just off the beach, and if you swim a bit further out to the reef crest, the variety of marine life is amazing. It’s important to go at high tide to avoid damaging corals or getting injured. The resort also carefully manages activities depending on tide, wind, and waves, which we appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay with beautiful weather, lots of positive energy, and memorable experiences. We would be very happy to return.

We wanted a homestay run by locals, so we got an authentic experience. No roads, no cars, only walking tracks and hiking trails. Wonderful. They are isolated, so no shop, I would recommend taking sachet coffees etc if you like more than instant. If you get inspired to want to help them (as I was) you could think of taking snorkelling flippers and leaving them there, or packraft paddles (they come apart), or a yoghurt maker and powder packets to make yoghurt. Some books, games, or big maps of Yasawa. We had a week, which was just right....but didn't get to do all the activities we intended to. Too nice being relaxed and even lazy. The ferry ride there is fun and interesting and they supply complimentary transfers to and from accommodation. South Sea Cruises. Apparently there is a supply boat from Lautoka once a week which is much cheaper.

BareFoot Kuata was a fair or probably a bad place to stay.

BareFoot Kuata was a fair or probably a bad place to stay. It is focused on the Backpacker tourist and even for that customer segment I find it expensive for the quality of food and accommodation. Food was not good at all. A typical buffet with the regular stuff and nothing that will impress you. Basic food. Basic coffee. Basic Tea. The staff at the restaurant were just doing their job but they were never friendly or welcoming. The guy that took my luggage to the Bure told me as I arrived how tired he was of working and walking to the most distant Bure which is number 30. More of hinting for a tip. Also he suggested to be approached individually if I wanted a fresh coconut. The facilities were simply all right. There were lounges by the beach that had not seen any proper cleaning or maintenance in a long time so it looks sad and abandonned. The staff at the Dive Shop when being asked for a kayak at 4 pm looked like they were not keen to help as they finish their day at 5 pm. Cleaning could have been better. The hotel lacks greenery other than what is there already, as pathways and common areas could be enhanced and made more beautiful. Once again, if you are into the backpacking world, this could be for you. But if you want a more boutique hotel or intimate experience, then I would go somewhere else. The only reason why I chose it was the snorkeling with the sharks but you can do that as a day visitor.

Savusavu is a great location for a peaceful holiday, giving to a more traditional Fijian experience with less resorts on the island. The market is a great for self catering or just absorbing the atmosphere, especially early on Sat when the fish market is there too. The people are very friendly and fun to be around, as you walk down the street you are constantly greeted warmly with Bula! Nateway Bay is mostly untouched and an amazing place to see.

As a large family group of 2 grandparents, 6 adult children and 3 grandkids, the resort was excellent and catered for all ages. A great selection of 4 pools, beautiful beach, 2 superb restaurants and a large buffet restaurant, plus other eateries. Various shops and bars. Night time entertainment, fire dancers were excellent, grandson amazed that "he ate fire"! Water sport activities, catamaran, kayaks, jumping inflatable. Relaxing spa, 9 hole golf course with Plantation island golf balls so they're all the same! Boats available for a quick trip to Cloudbreak and other surf breaks. Cloud 9 floating bar. We did it all and it was all amazing.

Fantastic accommodation and food (Sheraton).

Fantastic accommodation and food (Sheraton). Weather was perfect in June - consistently between 24-28 deg! Water temp was 27deg - no rasher needed. Very relaxing. Note a couple of things - extra activities were super expensive. Food generally quite expensive (but good) - we stayed at Sheraton - very nice - but no 'cheaper' food options (e.g. ~$20-30Aus for an entree). Highly suggest paying for the buffet breakfast - amazing! (never seen so many options!).
