FijiFirst the location was good and secure. Well the Unit itself was amazing , very modernized as the name itself says. We (my sister and I) just can't get over it very unique indeed.. You name it. it's all in that Unit, just buy your food and enjoy your stay feeling more at home away from home and comfortable. With transport no problem. From the common area, you can see the bay and the daily visit of a kingfisher. There is an open-air kitchen, and the fridge and kettle are in the room. We also highly recommend Savitri's cooking class.

FijiThe service and actual genuine bula we received was extremely beautiful. We had a wonderful greeting on arrival by solo and team. Our dinner was well prepared by Chef Osea and shared with the caretakers Lilly and Levaci. It was a home away from home for us, the beautiful room with the scenic view of the garden and river. Breakfast of home made Banana Muffins and the scrumptious pancakes. River tubing and boat ride by Osea 1 and Chef Osea on sunday was the best way to end our trip. If you're looking for something genuine, quiet and fijian. This is the place for you. We will be back.

Savusavu is a great location for a peaceful holiday, giving to a more traditional Fijian experience with less resorts on the island. The market is a great for self catering or just absorbing the atmosphere, especially early on Sat when the fish market is there too. The people are very friendly and fun to be around, as you walk down the street you are constantly greeted warmly with Bula! Definitely make the effort to venture across to Savusavu—it’s far more picturesque than Fiji’s main island. Getting around is a breeze: you can hop on local buses, grab a taxi, or simply wave down a friendly local for a ride (just agree on the fare beforehand). The people are incredibly welcoming and helpful—they’ll happily arrange any activity you fancy, and you’ll feel the rich Fijian culture everywhere. We even attended a Sunday singing service in the local church—it was breathtaking to hear the harmonies and feel the community spirit firsthand. I have much preferred staying in the Mamanuca Island chain - cuter islands, more of a holiday feel and better snorkelling than what we experienced here.
