Very easy to find in the centre of a small village. There is plenty of free car parking available. The rooms are very large, clean, comfortable, well appointed and very quiet. The staff are lovely and speak reasonable English. The food in the restaurant is excellent and very good value for money. It is a good base to explore the Ardennes and is very, very popular with hunters.

A lovely Auberge where we stopped for 1 night on our journey north. Restaurant very good and our dog was allowed to accompany us for meals. Spacious clean room nicely designed . Friendly staff although we had to guess what they were saying as our French is not good.

The hotel is more of a motel so you have you own front door - didn't realise when booking. Absolutely fine though was a great stop over. The room was comfy and had everything we needed. It is in a quiet area on the outskirts of town. Breakfast was good as was the bar in the evening.

    Haybes is a sleepy village about 3 hours from Calais along the French/Belgian border. This is a great place pre/post crossing, to relax and recharge in the fresh air. The hotel is historic, whilst also having all you need - a comfortable bed in a temperate room. We dined in the restaurant, and would recommend this. The food was sublime, offering local Ardennes dishes, some with a twist. We opted for the breakfast, which again was a chance for the chef to showcase some local dishes, such as the maison brioche. Everything was fresh and delicious.

    Classic "Old Skool (sp)" French establishment but charming as a consequence . Family run in a quiet rural village, a well prepared and presented (by the owner) evening meal and a decent breakfast . Room very clean and comfortable but dated in line with the rest of the premises. Not shabby...shall we call it patina??A very welcome step back in time....would certainly stay again. As a bonus secure undercover parking for motorcycles if you happen to be on one.

    we were just passsing through The food in the restaurant at the castle was not good-very basic despite the menu, tomato tart was stale and dessert not well presented or tasty service very slow Breakfast was poor- not much selection and poor quality. Small basket of tiny pastries, no tomato or cucumber No decaff coffee available Taps in basin were wobblyElectric socket in room did not work, paper cups for coffee- this was supposed to be 4 star Such a shame-- a beautiful hotel but poor attention to detail and food offerings

    Givet is a nice cute little town with a fortress on a hill, a river with enough possibilities for cycling/walking etc. Locals are friendly and it's one of my favourite starting point for travel to the south and explore the Ardennes.

    Haybes is a small city in a very beautiful area. You can walk around in the neighborhood there is a big florets and the flood. there are some very good restaurants but most of them is only open in the summertime In the winter season it's almost dead.

    It’s a small town with a lovely church and canal. The locals were very friendly. A lady showed us al the way to our accommodation when we took the wrong street. Very nice people. We went to a wedding there so couldn’t explore beyond the town.

    Signy-l'Abbaye is the quintessential French village, located in the lovely Ardennes region of France, an area of rolling countryside, close to the Belgian border and the town of Charleville-Mezieres, well worth a visit. The whole area is distinguished by historic monuments, including some fortified churches. This may not be a celebrated part of France (like the Dordogne or the Riviera), but there is a great deal to fascinate and enjoy!

    The property was very nice, clean tidy etc. Quite spacious easy enough room for 6 x persons. Locally there's a short walk to the local shops / bars etc. No 'supermarkets' in the village but there was a 'corner type' shop for a limited stock.

    Revin is set in a very nice area of France - Ardennes, but the town is a little run down and dirty in places with a lot of dog fouled footways. Lacks the expected 'fine' eating places / restaurants. A good base from which to explore the wider area.

    Sedan was a nice city with a lot of character in places. Some decent bars and restaurants. Good walk out through the cobbled streets of the hotel. Good stop over hotel if traveling to Germany or Italy.
