We stayed there just for one night, but really liked the hotel. The hotel is really nice, staff was friendly and breakfast was really good. We were sorry we didn't get to use the pool, it looked great.

The room is very spacious and clean, with an especially great view. There is a large parking lot at the entrance. All the toiletries are from L’Occitane. It is also very convenient to get to the castle from the hotel. My husband left his card holder in the room, and they kept it for us for two days. We are really grateful for that.

    Everything was perfect ! The place is big, with free parking and a great swimming pool, amongst others. The room was very big with great AC. The breakfast was delicious. Big thanks to the wonderful staff. We had a car so the location for us was perfect, in less than 10 we were in Toulouse. Would not hesitate to go back again :-)

    Toulouse is a welcoming city.

    Toulouse is a welcoming city. I found it a relaxing place with enough to see and enjoy without any pressure.Good metro to get around but plenty to see by walking. Spoilt for restaurant choices from the busy one's to the smaller quieter one's all providing good meals and good wine. The Garonne river walks and boat ride provide the easy time away from the busy central area The Pink City is worth a visit.

    Small city easy to find your way around. Bus to the airport is not very frequent and info about same is non existent, taxis are also very hard to aquire and there doesn't seem to be too many available.

    While the area is small on this side of the L'Herault River, there is all you need: Shops for groceries, restaurants, parking for the beach and Hiking Trails. The bigger supermarkets are not far away. A small bot ride over the river and you have a nice market.

    Castelaundry is in the heart of Cassoulet country…we had some fabulous meals in local restaurants. It is also a stepping off point for boats on the MIDI canal. You can walk or bicycle along the paths beside the canal and watch the locks operating. Great place to visit and interesting villages nearby.

    A really lovely place to stay, lots of choices to eat out, supermarkets for essentials near by and great boulangeries which provided our amazing breakfasts. Take a stroll along the Canal du Midi and the surrounding areas are so pretty and lovely to see, everyone was so welcoming and happy to have us in their town. Walking around Capestang is easy, mostly flat and lots of lovely houses to see on walks around the town. Great bicycle tracks around the Canal, we shared our breakfast table with some fabulous cyclist who said it was a great area to cycle in.

    over rated beach area with cheap chip shops burger joints and one or two bars that were closed Would not recommend this place to anyone expect those who like to stay on the beach all day and eat burgers and pizza at night. nothing to do in the area, no nice hotels and no nice place to eat

    Don't confuse the town of Avignonet-Lauragais (which is delightful) with Port Lauragais (which is adequate). The Relais Fasthotel is a 3km walk from the town and quite isolated. My experience of the town itself was limited, but I found it charming, warm, friendly and well worth another visit.

    The hotel is a budget hotel as it is a motorway stop off. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived really late and the night time receptionist managed to assist us to get some hot food from a delivery company for which we were really grateful. The room was basic but comfortable. However as we found with several hotels on the road we have recently stayed in they seem to be very short on towels. Now I know that everyone is trying help the environment but really I would like more than I hand towel and 1 bath towel as they don't dry by morning if used in the evening and I have long hair so I had to use my husbands towel to be able to dry my hair following my shower in the morning. The shower was not disabled friendly it was very cramped and I could only just get into the very small enclosed space. Once in however, it was a nice strong shower. Perhaps remember that those of us who are disabled need a little extra room to be at least able to turn around in as my husband has to help me to wash which was made difficult with the amount of space available. The breakfast was continental and actually really nice. I just couldn't reach anything by myself which was embarrassing as I had to ask other guests, the staff and my husband when he came down for his breakfast to help me reach things. As I am a wheelchair user I find this shouldn't be happening in this day and age. In fairness to the hotel they really were very apologetic and helped straight away but I should not have to ask. This did happen in other hotels it was not just this hotel by the way I just want to make that very clear. The Car Parking facilities were very good Overall the stay was good and we would stay again whilst travelling through France.

    Expected Colombiers with two gourmet restaurants and a canal side location to be bursting with cute boutiques in ancient lanes. There is an old part which is mainly residential and right next door a very ugly, very modern part which seems to be mostly medical facilities. Was there on a grey day in October which didn't help, but I wouldn't call it a destination unless you're boating or going for the (excellent) restaurants.

    Toulouse has a very happy vibe.

    Toulouse has a very happy vibe. Not only is it a proper working city where real people actually live, everyone we spoke to says that they are really happy living here compared with other cities in France. There's probably not a ton of stuff to do for days and days but as a place to explore and get to know for a while and as a gateway to the Aveyron, it is absolutely ideal.
