Beautiful boutique hotel. We had an enormous bedroom suite with a very comfortable bed. Very friendly owners. We really enjoyed the pool after a long drive down from the north of France. The hotel is 3km from the autoroute. The food and wine were excellent.

Beautiful location set in a very quaint 'magical' village. Friendly staff. Beautiful building and court yard. Dog-friendly, including provisions - bowls, treats, beds etc. Treats for us too - cookies and nougat! Bathroom with a bath, slippers, robe, toiletries etc. Parking available very close to the hotel. Lovely bistro within a short walking distance. Lovely restaurant on site that we took breakfast in - which has to be the best breakfast ever. I would return just for the breakfast. Warm, cosy and smelled nice everywhere! :)

What a fabulous hotel! We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of June. This is an old, quirky establishment in the centre of a market town (Wednesday and Saturday). The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly. Our room was huge and well equipped, with the largest bed we've ever seen. a fridge, a security box, large shower room and separate toilet. Our room had a veranda looking out over the market square. We didn't know if this would be a problem or not but it was so quiet, even on the Saturday morning when the market was in full swing. All areas of the hotel are spotlessly clean. The pool area and huge garden offer a beautiful oasis of calm. We chose not to take breakfast until the last day and that was plentiful and delicious. (we normally prefer a late start, taking a coffee in a local café). The town is not too big but offers a choice of places to eat and drink. We ate one night at La Fourchette which was amazing (limited menu but this was fine for us). This is a really pretty area of France and there are lovely places to visit. Merci beaucoup!

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in whilst travelling through France and spain, (and we do stay in 5* properties). The location is great, only minutes from the motorway. The property is beautiful renovated. The rooms elegant and as for the restaurants WOW! The Bistro produces fantastic food, without a Michelin Star! I would recommend this place to anyone.

    We loved everything about this property. It was relaxing from the moment we arrived. It feels like staying at a beautiful home of a very chic friend but with the most incredible breakfasts and beautiful rooms and views. Clotilde & Arnold are exceptional hosts with excellent recommendations. They strike the balance perfectly of being available but you feel completely at ease. And Stephanie keeps everything so fresh and clean, she made the room so welcoming every day. Arnold’s breakfast and food is delicious and Clotilde’s puddings are 👌🏼. We couldn’t recommend Le Bois Des Dames more. You’re also surrounded by the most incredible restaurants and Clotilde knows them all! Thank you so much Clotilde & Arnold (and Jo! 🐾❤️) for sharing your home and looking after us so beautifully. We came home refreshed and are looking forward to returning. We have amazing memories of the most relaxing holiday I’ve ever had.

    The hotel is in a great location, very quiet and easily accessible. It also has good parking facilities. The people are lovely with a very warm welcome, very helpful and a pleasure to talk too. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and great quality. Evening meal was very good too. The hotel is in a great location for visiting the region, it is an easy short walk into the centre of town. Also it has a nice pool and outdoor area if you want to just have a relaxing time. I have not hesitation in recommending this hotel.

    The setting is wonderful, the pool and dining areas are idyllic and are perfect spaces to relax and unwind. Despite these being shared spaces, it often felt like we had the place to ourselves. Access to the communal fridge was super welcome. Hosts Sophie & David were also super, warm yet discreet and freshly baked breakfast goods by Sophie were such a treat -looking forward to returning.

    The hotel was perfectly located not far from the motorway for our onward journey north from and yet set in beautiful countryside.     Great apartment.

    Great apartment. Had everything you need for a longer and shorter stay. Very clean. Parking in front of the apartment, inside the gated property was very convenient and safe. Nice and quiet neighbourhood. Swimming pool was nice and private. Yann was an amazing host!

    If you into lavender check before you yo the info if lavender fields have been harvested already. Otherwise you will not get desired experience. Also don't miss the marked day at Grignan (It happens at Pl. du Mail)

    Great little town with a lot more done by its City Hall team...

    Great little town with a lot more done by its City Hall team for its inhabitants than most similarly sized towns in France and even Europe. Very quiet in the non-touristic season (from October to Easter). It can be pretty cold at night in the November-March season too but the sun shines 300 days per year, better than the French Riviera and so much cheaper.

    Beautiful and quite undiscovered little village in the hills of Drôme Provençal, but this hidden gem is well worth visiting and a great spot to discover the beautiful surroundings. Very quit and peaceful.

    Just breathtaking! Beautiful views, peace and quiet! We had a very nice dinner in the garden, enjoying our food and a beautiful sunset! Very attentive staff, special thanks to Camille, who attended at our table. We definitely will be back!!

    Fine one night stopping off point for those bicycling the Via Rhona, but it was very noisy with the same motorcyclists racing up and down the street. Several restaurants with outdoor seating on the main drag.

    We stayed in Nyons to break up a longer trip.

    We stayed in Nyons to break up a longer trip. For us, this worked well. But if you are visiting for sightseeing purposes, Nyons can easily be seen in an hour or two. I should note that we were there on a Sunday and Monday and unfortunately most of the village is closed on these two days. On the Sunday night we found that some restaurants were closed, even though online it stated that they were open.

    Montélimar is a cute little town & Rochemaure nearby is a short cycle from there & back - all on dedicated bike path. I recommend sending 2 nights at Le Jardin in Montelimar & taking à day to cycle to Rochemaure & visit the town.

    Authentic French city, just a perfect size. Cafes, shops and restaurants with an easy access. Lovely distillery for lavendar. Great olives everywhere, also some factory shops. Calm, not noisy. Very nice weekly marker with local products!
