Very friendly staff. We, my 2 sons, 6 and 9 years old, felt an enormous hospitality and both host and chefs treated us and met us exactly “where we were”, both regarding “tips and tricks” for our stay as well as superb food and snacks, all around the clock. The facilities are many, all with a nice and unique feel. The place is situated on a calm mountainside, a good walk from Megève. Beautiful views of the valley. We will be back :)

The hotel is located in a small and extremely nice location far from the stress and very touristic Annecy. There is a lokal in-expensive bus that can take you to Annecy so no need to to stay in ”town”. Hotel has everything and the lake is beautiful. There are local great reausturants. Staff is very helpful and speak excellent english. Parking is not easy, but hotel parking inside gates is appreciated. Great beds.

My second time here. Perfect place to recharge and relax. Stunning mountain view outside the windows. Great French breakfast and Savoie 3 course dinner. You can get a drink from the bar and just relax by the fireplace in the winter.     1-They treated us as real guests ! They never ask for credit cards to block our money, or pay deposit, although , we had our dinner in the 3 stars Mechlin restaurant and the cost was over 600 €, no one asks us to sign anything, all was charged to the room, professional staff, they spot what you like and what you don’t, like our drinks on the breakfast for the next day, they pay attention for the details. 2- They granted us gifts, desserts, cakes, with a nice message left on the table informing us that there is a gift for us in the mini bar. 3- so friendly staff, we love everything from the moment we checked in, to the moment we check out, also a gift from the garden upon our check out. Amazing hotel, last but not least the location was wonderful, our room was Mountain View, Definitely would come back again

    This is one of those rare hotels where everything is perfect. The bedrooms and ensuite are impeccably done. Very comfortable beds. Quiet surroundings for restful sleep. Truly perfect. The pool is an exceptional facility, accessible by elevator on each floor. The different lounging areas (bar, library, and endless terraces) were lovely and inviting. The staff meet the highest standards and are professional without being stuffy. A brilliant choice for a relaxing stay with panoramic views of Lac Leman.

    Loved the location. Very easy to walk into Evian les bains which has a Fri market, lots of shops and resturants. If you have a car it's a short drive to chateau Chillon, Yvoire and Morzine and the Gorges de Diable. Lovely and warm room with a well equipped kitchen area.. There is a large room with a few pieces of gym equipment which we used for pilates. Nice clean pool. You could pre book a set 3 course meal for 16 euros.

    Annecy was absolutely beautiful!

    Annecy was absolutely beautiful! I can see why it is called the Venice of the Alps! You need at least a week to make the most of everything but we only had 3 days. Plenty to do for everyone with the old town, restaurants, lake, cycle paths and beautiful mountains!

    We were on a mission to revisit Parc de Merlet with our...

    We were on a mission to revisit Parc de Merlet with our grandaughter thirty-six years after we took her mother. The Parc delivered, with Chamois, Mouflon and Marmots to enjoy. The views from accommodation on that side of the valley are the best in the valley. In Les Houches village, the local patisserie was visited and a different cake enjoyed every day. There were plenty of paths (including Tour de Mont Blanc) into the forest, for walks from the chalet. Wonderful Alpine wildlife is easy to find. It was convenient to take the free train into Chamonix and take a ride to Le Brevent then walk the ridge and back to the chalet. We did the Mer de Glas, to from Chamonix. We went up to Bellevue on the teleferique and walked across the alp, finding several wild flowers and even a rare Wart-Biter Grasshopper! We then took the Tramway du Mont Blanc down to Saint-Gervais-Les-Bains and had a lovely afternoon in the beautiful park. There was a very tough Via Ferrata for the over 70s (with 50 years experience) and a Go Ape-type circuit with a rock-climb included in the trail for the 10-year-old and her Mamma, then train back to Les Houches. One weekend evening was lively down in the village, but up on the hill we could sit out in relative calm and stare at the sunset on snowy Mont Blanc, stars and the torch-lights of mountaineers picking their way down. All-in-all, very relaxing.

    Evian-les-Bains in June, during what should be peak tourist season, felt unexpectedly lifeless. Many stores appeared permanently closed, and the town lacked any real atmosphere after early evening—by 10pm, only the casino restaurant was still serving food.     The hotel’s location was convenient because it was close to the tram station for Mont Blanc. We could enjoy the relaxing private jacuzzi as it is reserved. There is an elevator (or cable car) for 200m to reach the thermal spa facility at the foot of the mountain

    Nice lake front with port/marina. There's a steep climb up to the town from the water with a funicular railway (summer only?). Lots of places to eat plus takeaways and supermarket in easy walking distance of town centre.

    Ideal to sleep over and access cities around. Annecy is lovely and Geneve has a lot to offer but you can also easily go to Evian, or even other cities in Switzerland like Lausanne, in little time. The train station has a lot of trains throughout the day that are punctual.

    La Clusaz is ok but not great.

    La Clusaz is ok but not great. It's low so snow is unreliable. It is relatively cheap for lift passes. There are no taxis available any more so getting round town in really hard! It's a very tame resort. Very hard to get into a restaurant on a weekend evening.

    Very charming, beautiful village of Megève! Lot's of excellent restaurants and shopping. Skiing near by. Great slopes for all levels. Great practice slopes for beginners. Very relaxing, breathtaking views.
