The art gallery is fantastic,lots of great exhibitions shown there.Great interactive learning stations for children+good cafe near entrance + a small coffee + cake one on 2nd floor where you can sit outside with view down the city.Footdee is a lovely old fishertown area near the huge beach+harbour.The famous Codonas beach park is expanding.Lots of great bars and places to eat.Good shopping centres but the only let down for me is Union street,the large wide main street which has lots of closed shops and looks run down.Guest review byjeanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The hotel was excellent lovely accommodation, delicious meals. The staff couldn't do enough for us. My husband played golf in Lossiemouth at the Moray Golf Club it was a fabulous course. The walk along the harbor has some great art installations.
The walk along the harbor has some great art installations. A 2.5 mile hike takes you to Dunnottar Castle with a war memorial along the way. Breathtaking views along the coastal walk. Lossiemouth has fantastic beaches and cliff walks. Harbour Lights cafe great for lunches and coffees, Catch 79 restaurant is excellent if more expensive but worth it, booking essential. A beautiful setting with the river running past. However our room facing the entrance and carpark made it very difficult to relax.Guests gather at the entrance and late at night it is very difficult to sleep. The staff were wonderful and helped us find alternative accommodation in the town . It is a shame we were not told about a wedding party so we could have made a choice whether to stay rather than listen to the celebrations which we fully understand would always be noisy.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Aberlour is a beautiful Speyside town in Scotland. It's clear people here take pride in the place - very tidy, hanging baskets, no litter etc. Charming to visit. There is plenty to do in the town and the surrounding area. No shortage of distilleries to visit, nice restaurants, pubs, cafes and great hotels. The weather varies greatly by season so come prepared. Lots to do outside - fishing, walking, mountain biking and much more. Heartily recommend it!Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom
