A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart...
A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle is located just outside the village. The village itself is very pleasant with a beautiful village green which had a market on it the day we left. The Fiddlers Restaurant on the village green was a great place to eat, drink and watch the world go by. Urquhart Castle is well worth visiting with a great visitor centre and Loch Ness as a splendid backdrop to the stunning castle remains.Guest review byStephenHong Kong - 10.0
Beautiful scenery. Brilliant trips on the Loch Ness Cruises.
Beautiful scenery. Brilliant trips on the Loch Ness Cruises. Plenty of places to visit. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants, gift shops. Fascinating watching the boats going up and down the series of locks. It certainly was not a disappointment.Guest review byMccormack - 8.0

It is a cute little village tucked away from the hustle and bustle from the more touristy areas in the Loch Ness area. Waterfalls and the Loch are easy walks, and it’s a short drive to Urquhart Castle and other sites. There are not a lot of places to dine, so the Glen Mariston is a good choice. Reservations will be needed.Guest review byLisaUnited States - 10.0
The whole experience at this place was excellent.
The whole experience at this place was excellent. The scenery was to die for. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic and other travellers were lovely to meet. The most comfortable bed and pillows we have stayed in throughout our entire trip. The manager is an exceptional helpful, lovely person, would highly recommend this facility to travellers. It’s a little hard to find and the road is not the best but well worth the effort 😀Guest review byToniAustralia - 10.0

Wonderful venue with views that literally take your breath away. The dining experience is restaurant quality. Hosts are superb, it’s clear their joy is your joy. Property is stunning, interior design you think but it’s just the imagination of Karla & Karl and it so works.Guest review bystuartUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This is from previous experience as the hotel I stayed in was some distance outside. Drumnadrochit is a lovely little town and well worth stopping over for a night on your travels. The people are friendly and helpful and I have visited many times over the years and always found it pleasant.Guest review byDaveUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lots of interesting things even though it was onky a small village. Loved our stay at Craig na Dav, a lovely B&B. Would highly recommend it. Comfortable accommodation with a great choice of breakfast. The sisters who run the place were really nice and made us so welcome,Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom - 10.0

An especially beautiful section of Loch Ness with stunning views, and walking the Falls of Foyers was reason alone enough to visit. The Waterfall Cafe is a very welcome stop, and I recommend the cheese and haggis toasties when you're there.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom
