It has a great location, with a lot of shops and close to restaurants! And so the main attractions walking distance!! The rooms are big and bed is super nice. Decoration is stylish. Staff at the reception was so nice and helpful for the check in and check out very smooth. The hotel offers a complementary coffee, tea & croissants in the mornings which is great detail. Is a hotel pet friendly our kitty cat loved it and so us.

A luxurious hotel with all needed facilities. We booked a room on the excutive floor and it was breathtaking! Big, soundproof and most important a clean room, with view the Liverpool ferry wheel 🎡! The bed was huge, more than enough for two people, with a big screen to watch movies which are saved on the tv. And the bathroom, stunning! Separated only by a glass from the room and a curtain if you want more privacy! Big wardrobe and iron included! In the room there were wine and a selection of coffee flavours to make, using the coffee machine which is provided in the room! Room service was very good as well with good prices for the food and drinks! Looking forward to book here again!

What a privilege to stay in such a historic building that has been so successfully transformed into a luxury hotel. We were upgraded to a suite which was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large with a great shower. The view from the window was over the dock towards the tobacco warehouse. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Good, cheap parking. We enjoyed the Titanic theme.

    Parking is very expensive.

Parking is very expensive. Try to use local transport and do the City and Beatles Tour with Joe and Tommy - excellent. If in the Anfield area try the Cabbage Hall Restaurant where we had good pub food including Scouse at a reasonable price. I especially liked their Blue Cheese Sauce on my steak.

I can't tell you much as I was using Southport as a base to visit Nature Reserves in the area. The holiday season was over but it was still quite busy. There area has a diverse selection of Pubs, Restaurants, Cafe's, Shops etc., to cater for all tastes and budgets. "Lord Street is the main shopping street of Southport, in Merseyside. It is 1 mile (1.6 km) long, with a roundabout marking each end of the street. There are many water features, gardens and architectural buildings along the entire street, with a mix of residential, commercial and public buildings. It was laid out in the early 19th century". After arriving at the haydock, we were charged £20 for geting in our room at 2pm instead of 3pm, the minute we opened room door, we were greeted with a stale fosty smell, we immediately tryed to open window, only to reliese it was nailed down, & was covered in cobwebs, i asked reception if they could open the window as there was no air in room, only to be told it was broken, going by cobwebs its been broken a while, still cant believe they didnt clean cobwebs away, i then asked for room change, we got told it wouldnt be to next day, i couldnt sleep in the room the 1st night i slept in car as couldnt breath in the room, the 2nd day we told them were leaving as the room was a disgrace, no working iron, or hairdryer, the bathroom was filthy, the rooms just not been used prior to my visit, but to not clean the room at all is a disgrace, we left a nite early as it wasntb sleepable, didnt think to take pictures as we were sweating buckets and couldnt wait to lleave, £203 for 2 nights and slept in car 1st night, and left the next morning, disgusting

We stayed at Knowsley as it was much more cost effective than 2 nights in similar accommodation in Liverpool. We were down for the Everton Man City game. Unfortunately neither of us drive and as buses don't Service the hotel at the weekend meant we had to rely on taxis. For anyone who drives the location is not a problem though. Visited a few of the local hostelries. Copperpot, Derby Arms and Vikings Landing all were very friendly places with good service. Prices for drinks are favourable compared to other cities.

Very clean . Beautiful surroundings. Comfortable. Not very warm especially dining room had to eat evening meal with coats on . Evening bar staff refused us a cup of coffee having already had one and then sent another person to their room to make one in their room and bring it back to their company sitting in the bar . And they were elderly. So not very good . Bar could of stayed open a little longer .... admittedly it was about 10.30pm but when you have been out and you need a nightcap in hotel even if just a cuppa not good .

Heswall is a friendly little town, with a good selection of small shops and eateries. Please do visit the book shop! From the outside it looks like any other shop, but step inside and you will be bowled over with what's on offer, which even includes a cafe. Heswall offers easy access to other destinations on The Wirrall, including the delightful West Kirby. It is a great spot to explore places further afield, such as North Wales, Chester and Liverpool.
