The hotel is exceptionally comfortable and clean, especially the toilet. Breakfast was really good. The staff were warm and professional. We wanted a location near enough to Winsor Castle, so this hotel is suitably so if you are driving, but quite secluded if you don't. Also the round about that takes you to this airport has many exits, gotta be very careful as a wrong exit will result in many miles of driving.

Everything was fine except for the first two days in my kids’ room. It was not a twin-bed room, even though I have two children over 20 years old. We were given a double-bed room, which was impractical. After two days, the kids were moved to another room with twin beds and better air conditioning. Initially, they were staying on the first floor with no elevator, but later they were relocated downstairs with us. The supervisor, I believe her name was Somya, was extremely helpful. She also offered us all a complimentary breakfast. She was very supportive, attentive, and entertaining throughout our stay.

We did not see a lot of the town, which has a long history.

We did not see a lot of the town, which has a long history. There are some interesting and beautiful places to visit within easy reach: National Trust places to recommend are Hughenden Manor, Cliveden, and Greys Court. Other places are The Chiltern Hills, the Coombe Hill Monument, The Hell-Fire Caves and many more. The town has a good museum, and parks, and is not far from beautiful spots on the Thames such as Henley, Marlow, Maidenhead etc. And the walking around is on well-marked paths.

Beaconsfield is a lovely small village which we enjoyed walking through with its own independent shops and restaurants. I didn't leave the hotel for 2.5 days as it was so pleasant and I had prior commitments to fulfil, via computer. There is WiFi at Five Bells but it was a bit erratic in my room. That wouldn't stop me staying there again; I'd just make sure my online commitments were carried out before going there.
