- From US$210.16 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,410 reviewsWe very much enjoyed the homey atmosphere of the Lister Arms. The food was delicious, the included breakfast quite filling-perfect for a full day of hiking. We felt very spoiled by the king sized bed, and it was very appreciated for a restful night. We loved the hikes around Malham and not having to worry about driving or parking, so the location was excellent. The pub had 4 choices of non-alcoholic beer: for those who don't drink, that's a great and rare offering!Guest review byMaggieUnited States
- From US$164.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,155 reviewsEverything was lovely, from the soap in the bathrooms to the decor to the food and drink, the lavander in the garden and lights in the dinning room. Comfy beds and accomodated dog perfectly while eating. Have already recommeded to others. Breakfast very generous and evening meal really tasty.Guest review byGeorginaSpain

Our favourite place was the Leeds to Liverpool canal just around the corner from the Woolly Sheep especially the afternoon tea boat trip. We also enjoyed strolling around Skipton an interesting market town.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

This is a lovely and picturesque town in the incomparably lovely Yorkshire dales. There is a lovely market square with nice shops and restaurants, a fabulous Georgean theatre, a terrific castle to explore, and a nearby ruined abby that is an easy walk from the centre of town. (Every town needs a ruined abbey, right?)Guest review byBeverleeCanada - 10.0

It is a lovely village in Yorkshire with a very cute gingerbread style station that has connections between Leeds and Lancaster for commuter trains. Lots of places to eat and have coffee. There was a lovely flower pot festival when we visited.Guest review byChristinaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Grassington is a lovely village in a great location within the dales. Lots of nice walks from there, especially along the river. It has plenty of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants to choose from. A fabulous place for breakfast, the old school room (8 mins in car).Guest review byPhilUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The village was quaint .
The village was quaint . The waterfall trail was amazing ,a must if you stay here or are just visiting for the day . The locals were so friendly and helpful . I wanted to do white scar caves but I read you had to bend down and squeeze through in places which I didn’t feel comfortable doing unfortunately. Countryside was stunning so many villages to discover in the area .Guest review byTonyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It has most of what you would expect from a traditional Yorkshire Dales village and more, with a good mix of old and new. A very traditional inn, down to earth, with a good mix of locals and visitors, sits next to a recently refurbished one, apparently aiming for the higher spending tourists. A central area offers cobbled parking in front of inns and shops. There is still a village green, (with actual local children playing), a post office, a general store and a mix of other outlets for arts/crafts, gifts, ice-cream etc. Very easy access to both the gentler riverside aspects and the wilder moorlands of the area.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely village surrounded by amazing limestone scenery.
Lovely village surrounded by amazing limestone scenery. Two nice pubs and a good cafe. Bus service. Good paths and signposts. Take a carrier bag on your walks to collect litter, as this is unfortunately a popular place for inconsiderate visitors!Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Lovely town, excellent walking and mountain biking riding location, excellent accommodation in rented house. Good pubs for drinking in but sadly the food is all a bit dated and 1970's. Fish and chip shop was excellent. Curry house disappointing but the cafe's were excellent.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The kitchen and living room are at the top of the cottage which give access to fantastic views. The bedrooms are small, but adequate. Beds are comfortable. The price is reasonable. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Parking is available.Guest review byHippogirlyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Caw Cottage is simply wonderful.
Caw Cottage is simply wonderful. It has everything you will need for a relaxing stay in the Yorkshire Dales. Perfectly placed to explore this beautiful area and with Sedbergh just a few miles down the road with a number of good pubs/restaurants, everything is within easy reach. Caw Cottage is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The bed is super comfortable too. The hosts are nearby, very friendly and helpful, but very respectful of your privacy. Caw Cottage is a gem of a place. Well worth the visit.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom
