The rooms are not cheap compared to other local hotels, but you are getting a lot extra to make the stay both comfortable and memorable. The staff were excellint and friendly. The bedroom was lovely, just like the pictures advertised. The window offers a picturesque view of rolling hills and the charming village scenery. Dinner was reasonably priced and portioned, and breakfast was excellent. The atmosphere and aesthetics were delightful. Would absolutely recommend for a staycation! Settle, the town itself, completely surpassed my expectations. It felt like stepping into a fairytale with its enchanting gardens, rolling hills, quaint farms, and charming cottages. The creativity displayed in the lovely figures crafted from flower pots added an extra touch of magic to the whole experience. Truly a dreamlike setting!

Rooms are incredibly clean and spacious with a fabulous power shower. Breakfast was lovely and well thought out by giving you a menu card to fill out the night before so they knew what to cook for you in advance. As we travelled in August I was so pleased to see a desk fan on top of the wardrobe to provide cooler air, which made for a very pleasant nights sleep. The location is perfect for exploring the Yorkshire Dales

Plenty of independent shops along with the usual high street ones. Good market few times a week on the main high street. Lots of traditional or modern bars and restaurants to choose from all within easy walking distance.Canal walks or boat trips as a nice activity. We found a few days visit was ideal. We intend to return and visit the castle during a future trip.

Lovely village location a short walk from the train station. Beautiful house and a gorgeous room. We liked Sedbergh very much, people were friendly & although well into autumn when we went, still plenty of pleasant walks to do. We saw pheasant’s, woodpecker, Heron, red squirrel whilst out on our walks. Lots of Owls hooting at night. Good cafes & pubs for nice food. We particularly liked The Dalsman pub. The Thirsty Rambler was a good place for a stop off. Fairfield Mill one to visit whilst in the area too.
