My husband and I had the most amazing stay at the Grand in Birmingham. The hotel is fantastic and has been renovated beautifully. All the staff were good but we need to make a special mention to Isatou kassama; who was the lovely, smiley and super professional every time we spend some time in the Madeleine bar. Thank you Isatou kassama for making our stay so special.

I had meetings at a nearby business and usually stay at a faceless hotel chain. The team at Domo went above and beyond to facilitate my late arrival and the room was beautifully presented, warm and clean. Breakfast was delicious too. I'll definitely stay there again when I'm working in the area.

I've stayed at Redwings Lodge many times, its always reliable and I know what to expect. Easy check in, polite staff and value for money. The rooms are large, soft, comfy bed, clean and fresh bedding guarantees a great nights sleep. Despite the room facing the road it was quiet and at night no noise at all. The bathroom was spotless with plenty of soft, clean towels. The room has tea and coffee making facilities There is a private bar for guests and they also serve some food.

I really enjoyed my stay! The staff are professional and friendly. I had a minor issue with accessing my room but Awa who was there both during my check in and assisting me with the issue made everything go smoothly! The professionalism which she and her colleague showed really made my stay worth every penny spent there! I will definitely return. 😊

We left the room after roughly 2 hours . Bedding was dirty, drug paraphernalia under the bed and used cigarette on bathroom floor. Someone who stayed the night before also tried coming in our room looking for his phone that he lost! Felt extremely unsafe. Paid for food to be delivered but just wanted to get out of there. Booked another hotel immediately . Appalling service and disgusting. Genuinely don’t know how they are open!!

This was a first visit to Coventry. The cathedral was absolutely amazing. We were also able to see a rehearsal of a play in the old cathedral to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Coventry blitz. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to visit all of the Herbert art gallery and museum but what we did see was very interesting. Would definitely like to come back again.

While our hotel was beautiful and calm, Wolverhampton seems to have nothing to offer other than shopping malls, fast food kiosks, and ugly buildings. But perhaps we did not give the city a fair chance, as everyone we met was friendly, kind and happy with the place they lived in.

I only stayed one night, didn't see alot of the surrounding area due to time of arrival and my departure in the morning. It seemed to be a fairly quiet but, I think we were on the outskirts of Dudley. The pub was a short walk, staff and locals were friendly. Food was very good and reasonable. I had the carvery and a pint of lager which, was cheaper than the pizza I had the previous night. Not in Dudley.

Entrance from the main road to the hotel is bit confusing but I am sure after one wrong turn it will be managed . Breakfast was good had all the options available. Hot sausage Vegan option is available which I did not know at the time of stay. It would be nice to add halal sausage as well Beds were comfortable very nice and clean room but body lotion can be a good addition to the collection.

HORRIBLE ! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!

HORRIBLE ! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Booked 3 rooms . 1 was a disable room ( It is a disaster waiting to capture another victim ) When i found out , i cancelled that room . I was left with 2 rooms. Got into the room, and it was boiling hot. No AC. I asked and was told that was the only room and that i should manage the room , till the next morning. They got a fan and i told them that i don't do well with a fan. (they pleaded , began to promise an upgrade, free food , if only i could just spend the night . Now this was almost midnight because we got in there very late . I told them that i need to check out . i Called booking.com to in form them , they called the hotel and the hotel told them they had offered me heaven and earth . ( I was cajoled to spend the night there over my safety and comfort ) The next morning , i booked another hotel and checked out . I called booking.com to inform them that i was checking out and booking.com called the hotel back and the hotel told the lady frombooking.com that they would process my FULL refund . Today makes it 2 weeks and this hotel has not refunded my 4 nights stay that i paid in FULL for . They keep passing me around staff after staff. The person responsible for the refund never gets to work till 3pm . A peep into their restaurant is appalling . I am a frequent traveler who looks forward to English breakfast , but i would have fallen ill if i tasted the food. Display of food is an eyesore . Hopefully , this hotel will refund the money that i paid . Their communication is ZERO . Neither has booking.com been of help to recover my refund . This hotel is rubbish . I eventually stayed the rest of my time in birmingham at CLAYTON HOTEL.
