This is the 3rd time we book this hotel. It is all new, big comfortable rooms, nice big beds and great common spaces for warm and cold weather. The hotel is also not far away from major Mestia hiking tracks so you don’t need to travel through all the city to hike or go back from track.

Owner is very nice and friendly. He doesn’t know English but he still tries to communicate. He is very welcoming. The hotel is very clean, even the toilets. The view is amazing! Early morning, you can smell the good cooking.

The host is super friendly. He found for us several taxi-drivers and price for their servise was low than you could take negotiating with drivers on a bus station. If you haven't enough time but desire to see as many attraction as it's possible you have to deal with drivers. So the host saved our money in some extent)

Everything was better than we expected! The staff was amazing, they really wanted us to enjoy and feel comfortable! They helped us to find information about the area and what is the best to do and even welcoming us in our language. The room was big, beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The hotel has a big parking area. There is a beautiful view from the window. There is very good food at the hotel's restaurant. Breakfast is impressive and tasty. Everything was great. The rooms are very new and modern, the location is good, the views are nice (facing the mountaints). But the best part was the host. Even though she did not speak English and we did not speak Georgian, she made us feel very welcome. And her home-made breakfast was 10/10!

They allowed us to even use their kitchen to cook and even made us a special breakfast. Everything was perfect! The location, staff, view, room and generally all services. The rooms were clean, spacious and cozy.     This is a very good value hotel, which is primarily used for tour groups. The hotel is only ten minutes walk from the centre. We had a room on the third floor overlooking the mountains which was very good. The room is a good size and the twin beds were surprisingly, extremely comfortable. Simple breakfast but adequate. WiFi in our room was very weak, however in the reception area there is a strong signal. Outside the front of the hotel in the garden, there is a very good covered terrace area with plenty tables and chairs. The manager was very pleasant and helpful with any requests. Overall great value.

    Casa de Khasia is my favourite place to stay in Zugdidi. Located within walking distance from the centre, yet very quiet street. The gorgeous garden smells delicious and attracts singing birds. The facilities in the room are modest but impeccably clean and well-thought. The breakfast is filled with local produce which is much appreciated. The hosts are just a delight! Don't be shy. Talk to them. They can tell you so many interesting stories about Samegrelo's customs. Ruso and Gia are two very interesting individuals and very dedicated to making your stay at their property memorable.

    First of all, it appeared that the car rented by us showed fuel level incorrectly, and we ran out it 20km prior reaching Mestia. We phoned the hotel with our problem - and they came to rescue us bringing 20 liters canister of petrol! We also travelled with our dog and had no issues staying with her in the hotel. Then, we really enjoyed the fire place with swing chairs surrounding it. It was a really pleasant experience talking to friends in the evening and at night, in front of the fire. So, I'd really prefer to stay here next time I visit Svaneti.

    It is a very sweet family business, owners are so kind and friendly. You can have dinner and breakfast in the place. owner's mother cooks the meal for the guests. They were soo good and delicious, dont miss it, also try their delicious Georgian wines. The guest house is in Svaneti region surrounded by mountains, trees, rivers. You can have a half day hiking to go to waterfall which is an experience you should not miss.

    The location is fantastic, especially for those who have a car, it is an ideal place to get to gondola.You can also walk 150 meters to the beginning of the chairlift and it will take you to the gondola. The manager Tamar is fantastic and very helpful. Tamar speaks English fluently.

    Safe village with rich Svaneti Historical museum.

    Safe village with rich Svaneti Historical museum. Worth to visit Laghami church as well. In the country, which is famous for wines, visiting local beer brewery "Setieli" might be an exotic adventure and fun. Favourite place to eat Lanchvali restaurant, if too tired to get up to the hill, "Lushnu Our" might be the second choise, although too crowdy. Cable car get you up to Zuruldi masiff. Mestia is great location for those who enjoy one day trecking and walks.

    Ushguli is a wonderful city with its stunning nature and historical beauty, perfect for resting after long trekking and hiking adventures. Tamar Castle is a must-visit spot. Located at the upper part of the city, it’s reached via a scenic path intertwined with a dried-up riverbed. The view of the city from the castle is breathtaking. Additionally, vibrant wildflowers along the mountains add a colorful charm to the city’s atmosphere. After a 6-day hike, we arranged a taxi back to Mestia with help from the facility where we stayed. It’s also easy to find many taxi drivers in the city square.

    Had a great stay at Tamazi guesthouse !

    Had a great stay at Tamazi guesthouse ! Amazing views from the terrace where you can chill in a hammock with a glass of wine after a long day hiking . Also there is a horse that you can hire for ride around the village . The food was sure tasty And the owners are very friendly and engaging . Definitely recommend his place !

    Zhabeshi is the first overnight stop on the most common...

    Zhabeshi is the first overnight stop on the most common route taken by hikers walking the iconic Mestia-to-Ushguli hike. (There are alternative routes that bypass Zhabeshi.) The village is located in an exquisite valley just below the confluence of the Tviberi and Tsaneri Rivers, nestled under the slopes of Tetnuldi and Banguriani peaks in the Greater Caucasus Range. If you're into mountain environments and ancient villages steeped in history, it doesn't get much better than this.

    Martvili Canyon is a breathtaking natural wonder. Paddle through its emerald waters on a boat, gazing upwards at the towering limestone cliffs adorned with lush greenery. The tranquil silence is occasionally broken only by the melodic chirping of birds and the gentle gurgling of cascading waterfalls. For an adrenaline rush, consider the zipline that soars over the canyon, offering a truly exhilarating perspective. While it may come at a slight premium, the experience is well worth it.

    Mazeri is marvelous place if you want to connect with nature...

    Mazeri is marvelous place if you want to connect with nature. everything is authentic and not influenced by technology as it is in metropolitan areas. Air is clean and evening till morning is quiet. Godd place for hiking and camping, near by water falls and Ushba mountain has its impact on the place. I have not hiked until the Glacier however reaching waterfall area and crossing wooden bridges were thrilling enough for me. Just to highlight, as it is country side do not expect to have restaurants or Cafeteria or grocery shops. Locals with guesthouses and English language is not their preferred language. Russian language is commonly understood there. Expect simplicity and infrastructure of basic countryside with no complications. So far I had 3 visits to Mazeri, for sure I would prefer to have my own transportation to match my need and convince. If you would hire a driver there then should negotiate as prices varies and public transportation will be limited. Renting a horse is fun, if you cannot ride then can hire a guide along with the horse with extra pay. Hores rental is not expensive, during my visit about US $38 per day

    A small port town with not much to do, but you can check out the lighthouse, stroll through the town center, and enjoy some good food. Maltakva Beach is decent too. I’ve heard that trash from nearby rivers sometimes washes up on the beach — something to keep in mind.

    This place was HUGE disappointment.

    This place was HUGE disappointment. Environment in general was untidy, especially entrances of the buildings, poolside, etc. Poor quality service and lame breakfast made us rapidly leave the premises.

    We really liked Mestia surrounded by magnificent mountains.

    We really liked Mestia surrounded by magnificent mountains. It's a small cozy town. Wooden and stone buildings perfectly complement the mountain scenery. As for food, for a small town there is a good choice of restaurants, cafes, and there are also small grocery stores. We mostly went hiking near Mestia and got a lot of positive impressions, enjoying the amazing scenery.
