    This hotel was a beautiful surprise and exceeded our expectations for many reasons. We arrived and departed from Agia Marina Harbour by ferryboat and a shuttle to the hotel was arranged for us which is located arround 10 minutes walk away. The room was spacious with beatiful views to both Agia Marina Beach as well as the hills around and Temple of Aphaia in the distance. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options available and Mr Tibi to prepare your preffered type of coffee. The hotel also has a well maintained swimming pool perfect for a quick dip in the afternoon or just to relax. The hotel and facilities are great and this hotel can easily pass as a 4 star hotel with all it has to offer. The most valuable aspect though is the great hospitality and friendliness that we experienced from the hosts,both Mr Adrian and Mrs Teodora are very dedicated and caring in what they do. They will go out of their way to help you or assist you in arranging trips,transportation or give you great tips regarding restaurants,beaches or places of interests on the island.

    Very convenient location, though tucked away and quiet. The noise of scooters on Aegina can be tormenting but you never hear them in this place. The whole has been tastefully designed round the swimming pool and feels like an oasis of trees, flowers and nature generally. Each building is slightly different which adds to the sense of attention to detail. I think all rooms have spacious balconies with varying aspects. Our studio was simple but somehow stylish - pleasant art on the walls, interesting table lamps. Everything worked, not always the case in Greek hotels! Easily the best place I've stayed on Aegina.

    A perfect little place for a relaxing beach holiday. Easy to get there with a ferry from Athens in 30 minutes. The little port is close to everything. There are different types of beaches to choose from. Our favourite restaurant was Kaliva. Service might be a little imperfect due to the young staff, but they are very kind and the food is wonderful fir a good price.

    Souvala is quieter than Aegina Town but that is not a bad thing. It is more laid back. It has some good tavernas, bars and restaurants. The souvlaki at Theophilos is to die for. With a Greek salad and a small Carafe of wine , two Souvlakis 17 Euros. That's great. There us a,small beach near the small harbour. There is also a another beach slightly out of the town which in high season has sunbeds and a bar. Just a short walk.. Souvala has a good Supermarket Bakery and some other little shops too. Lovely little place. And 15 mins by taxi to.Aegina,Town .

    The location is quiet and relatively far away from the town, I mentioned relatively as the island is small so it doesn't take long to travel. So it's a good opportunity to stay in a quiet place with not much distance from the town. Still there are a few places to eat. The taxi will cost more to come there to take you to town, so instead of 18 euros you will pay 25.

    Public transport on the island is not great so personal transport is required. You can see all you need to in 24-48 hours. I’m glad I visited but I didn’t find anything to make me want to return. My travel companion is vegan and it was very difficult to find vegan options on menus, and none that contained vegan protein in the many restaurants in Aegina or Perdika which we also visited.

    A colorful and vibrant island, with beautiful shops and excellent restaurants. Like everywhere in Greece, the locals are friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. When booking the ferry, pay attention—there are two ports on the island: one is the main port, and the other is secondary. The main port brings you closer to the livelier, more touristy area. In any case, even if you arrive at the other port by mistake, you can easily take a taxi or a bus to the other side of the island.

    In general south part of Aegina is much better than the northern part. Perdika is a really nice place to stay, close to Marathonas, Sarpa and Klima beach (by far go to Klima beach). Marathonas is good for families with young children as the sea is not deep. Probably some more dinning options (other than Perdika fishing port) would be good, but Aegina city center is really close, not more than 15 mins drive.
