Great breakfast with omelet and Greek yogurt. The place has a great restaurant where we had excellent food and enjoyed the view of the sea while dining. Thanks!

I stayed here in November, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The staff greeted us warmly with smiles and personally guided us to our room. The room itself was a delight spacious, impeccably clean, and filled with a freshh and pleasant fragrance. beds and pillows were incredibly cozy and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The balcony, which offered nice views of the seaand the port. Its proximity to the port, just a 2-minute walk, was a bonus... We visited specifically for a fishing trip and the location couldnt have been more perfect. The peaceful winter atmosphere added to the charm, making it easy to relax after a day out by the water.Since we visited during the quieter winter season, there were not many people around the port,the atmosphere was tranquil and perfect for relaxation.

Double room no. 10 on the ground floor with a beautiful direct sea view. The room was clean and spacious. We had a little kitchen with everything needed for a short stay. A/C worked well. They cleaned our room everyday.
The reception lady was very kind and helped us a lot with booking the ferry on our last day because we had a problem with online booking.
In our opinion, the location of this hotel was the best on Agistri. It was so peaceful with a short walk to Skala and the port. It is a little bit in the hill but still easily reached compared to other hotels nearby. Skliri and Chalkida beach were 5-min walk away through pine wood and spectacular views.
This hotel was the best value for money on the island (best location, sea view room). If we ever come back to Agistri we would probably stay here again :)

I booked the hotel for a short two day trip from overheated Athens with my sister and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The hotel has it's own access to the sea where we spent our entire stay. We originally wanted to go out for a drink in the town in the evening, but after their delicious dinner we couldn't help ourselves and completely passed out. The hotel staff were always very friendly, kind and helpful. They allowed us to swim there even after we checked out, as we were waiting for the ferry. Amazing view, food, service, room and serene atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and stay longer than we did.

Our hosts, Katerina and Kostas, were exceptional in their hospitality. We directly felt like family. Everything exceeded our expectations. They welcomed us with generosity and kindness. They offered to move us to a bigger apartment without extra charges as there was space. Sunrise studios were perfectly clean and super comfortable. Nothing was missing.The view from the apartment was simply amazing! We highly recommend this place and already know that if we visit again, that's where we will stay surely.Thank you again!

a lovely quiet little villiabge, hugging the coastline with spectacular sunsets and beaches. Plenty of options for food and refreshments, and some shops for holiday essentials. Easy drive to the end of the island (Only really one road) to beautiful beaches with beach bars and loungers and easy parking.
Skala has a jetty catering for the various ferries plus visiting yachts. the beach is great for swimming - soft white sand, with no rocks or weeds, shelving very slowly.

Extremely clear and warm waters!
Extremely clear and warm waters! The island is generally green! Overall the location has everything you need, such as several restaurants and bars, however it does not have many bank services for withdrawing money!

Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed was opposite the beach. There is a promenade right on the beach for early morning walks or jogging. The port is 3 minutes walk away, so we didn't need a taxi or a car to move around. You can rent motorbikes, bicycles and you can go round the island. There is an efficient and prompt bus service which takes you to the two famous beaches of the island (Dragonera and Aponisos). Both worth a day's visit and the sea is unbelievably clear and inviting.

Having regularly visited the island of Agistri for day-trips...
Having regularly visited the island of Agistri for day-trips in the past, last year we decided to stay at Skala for 3 nights. Our hotel at that time, although very good, was very near restaurants and bars which made it rather noisy.
This year we stayed for 4 nights and opted for a guest house a little further away from the main area of Skala. Our choice proved most suitable to us.
There are several hotels and guest houses. Skala has a wide range of restaurants, cafes & bars and those we visited based on web reviews proved to be very good. All restaurants have music (thankfully not all with loud volume). There is also a superb bakery, with a good barista service too!
The main beach (sandy) is very pleasant.
Frequent ferry service to nearby island of Aegina and port of Piraeus.
As we were leaving in late June, it felt as if the island overall has become increasingly popular (it certainly does not appear to have affected the overall experience of the place) and anyone wishing for a more relaxed stay might prefer to visit during the shoulder season, then again that applies to most places!

I really loved this side of Agistri, honestly, when we had to pack up and move to a new room in Skala,I was sad. I really enjoyed the quiet, tranquil setting of Megalochori. Do yourself a favor and book a trip with Kristos on the Jaimaca boat tour, it was a fabulous experience. He also plays the Bazookie exceptionally well. It was incredible to see the shipwreck he takes you to and lunch in Methana was perfect. Can’t say enough about it. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment we had on this side of Megalochori.
