The apartment was exceptionally clean, and the facilities were excellent.
Just a short walk to the bakery, beach, tavernas, and supermarket. Great location with a view of the beach from the balcony.
Perfect for a short break or even longer.

I had a view of the sea and the sound of the waves on the shore was very relaxing in the morning and evening hours. The balcony and the room itself was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The sheets and towels were replaced daily. All this for an amazing price (I visited in the off season so this may vary). The staff was very kind and professional. Also as a side note, I accidentally left a belonging when I checked out and the lady was so kind to send it back to me by boat. Very sweet of her and I thank her so much for that!

The shower was amazing, and there was plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. This hotel is our all time favorite in the whole world and it is actually just difficult to describe all the reasons with the right words but the vibe here is extraordinary and all of the staff are so nice and helpful. First of all you have the friendly and comfortable athmosphere. The breakfast in the restaurant is really delicious and the restaurant offers really high quality food at relatively low price. Clean, extremely beautiful hotel and surroundings just wonderful right at beach and the seaside in Skala, Agistri where the sea is crystal clear. We really love the friendly atmosphere in Aktaion Botique hotel and not to forget theyr’e cute dog Luna and the Parrots Coco and Dodo who are also providing for a family friendly athmosphere. For us this is just like a little paradise away from home and we will absolutely be coming back (hopefully) every year.

First time on the island of Agistri. We could not have chosen a better place. This family runned studios are excellent in every way. Spotless clean and very comfortable. Our room had a stunning balcony view to the sea. Excellent value for money. Equipped with everything you may need when staying in a holiday studio apartment. It's situated on a perfect location near the beach, eateries and the Catamaran boats coming from Piraeus. Hosts Katerina and Kostas are the loveliest and friendliest people you will meet and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would recommend Sunrise Studios to everyone without any hesitation. This apartment studio is the main reason we had the best time on Agistri. Thank you very much for everything!

Everything 🙂. Sparkle clean, very friendly and helpful stuff, great location (short walk to café, restaurants, bakery etc.)
View from the balcony was stunning I had my coffee in the morning sharp 8:30 at the door. A day before I leave coffee didn't come (due some misundertanding perhaps) and on the final bill I wasn't charged for coffee and water at all for all those days I stayed.
A hotel is located in an not so high uphill so you can eat and drink everything you like not to worry about your weight 😄 (guarantee!)

a lovely quiet little villiabge, hugging the coastline with spectacular sunsets and beaches. Plenty of options for food and refreshments, and some shops for holiday essentials. Easy drive to the end of the island (Only really one road) to beautiful beaches with beach bars and loungers and easy parking.
Skala has a jetty catering for the various ferries plus visiting yachts. the beach is great for swimming - soft white sand, with no rocks or weeds, shelving very slowly.

Extremely clear and warm waters! The island is generally green! Overall the location has everything you need, such as several restaurants and bars, however it does not have many bank services for withdrawing money!

Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed was opposite the beach. There is a promenade right on the beach for early morning walks or jogging. The port is 3 minutes walk away, so we didn't need a taxi or a car to move around. You can rent motorbikes, bicycles and you can go round the island. There is an efficient and prompt bus service which takes you to the two famous beaches of the island (Dragonera and Aponisos). Both worth a day's visit and the sea is unbelievably clear and inviting.

Having regularly visited the island of Agistri for day-trips...
Having regularly visited the island of Agistri for day-trips in the past, last year we decided to stay at Skala for 3 nights. Our hotel at that time, although very good, was very near restaurants and bars which made it rather noisy.
This year we stayed for 4 nights and opted for a guest house a little further away from the main area of Skala. Our choice proved most suitable to us.
There are several hotels and guest houses. Skala has a wide range of restaurants, cafes & bars and those we visited based on web reviews proved to be very good. All restaurants have music (thankfully not all with loud volume). There is also a superb bakery, with a good barista service too!
The main beach (sandy) is very pleasant.
Frequent ferry service to nearby island of Aegina and port of Piraeus.
As we were leaving in late June, it felt as if the island overall has become increasingly popular (it certainly does not appear to have affected the overall experience of the place) and anyone wishing for a more relaxed stay might prefer to visit during the shoulder season, then again that applies to most places!

I really loved this side of Agistri, honestly, when we had to pack up and move to a new room in Skala,I was sad. I really enjoyed the quiet, tranquil setting of Megalochori. Do yourself a favor and book a trip with Kristos on the Jaimaca boat tour, it was a fabulous experience. He also plays the Bazookie exceptionally well. It was incredible to see the shipwreck he takes you to and lunch in Methana was perfect. Can’t say enough about it. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment we had on this side of Megalochori.
