- From US$220.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,625 reviewsWe stayed for 7 days and enjoyed it immensely! Prior to our stay I emailed the concierge a couple of times with some questions I had, and they were wonderful in answering! We upgraded our room to have a balcony, and it was great. You get good value for your money, the staff is amazing and you have your own oasis on the roof top. That said, there were people complaining about the fact that you have to book sun beds and consume at least 25€ up there.. In all honesty, this is nothing new, I’ve met the same system in Spain and it works. Also, the price is not bad when you compare it to a beach club by the sea where you pay an entrance fee, then a bed or two, and then food and drinks.. Mavili Beach is charming, it’s convenient and it works. And the staff up there is wonderful!Guest review byCarmen-AliceNorway
- From US$413.92 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 6,360 reviewsPerfect location amid the colourful bars and restaurants of Athens' tourist district and narrow streets of Plaka. I was easily able to walk to the Acropolis itself from the hotel. The hotel itself was comfortable and well equipped, attractive room and decent size. The buffet breakfast is one of the best I have had in the European continent. The crowning glory is the breakfast/bar terrace overlooking the Acropolis, a perfect view at any time of day. I was blown away by the hotel. Highly recommended to pay the extra to stay here.Guest review byGrahamPhilippines
- From US$148.76 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 6,168 reviewsThe best feature of the hotel is the wonderful view of the Acropolis from the restaurant, so enjoyable while having breakfast and even better at night with drinks. Professional service from the staff. Very central location to visit the highlights in Athens on foot, and close to 2 metro stations. Parking available. Plentiful and complete breakfast, with good coffee and greek optionsGuest review byMARGARITAEcuador
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 871 reviewsWe were given a clean room with a beautiful view in an overall very nice hotel with friendly and professional staff and a delicious breakfast. If you want to explore Poros, just be aware that the hotel is a bit out of the way, which may add to its charm, but can also mean you have to walk longer distances. We simply rented a scooter and had a wonderful time finding places off the map.Guest review byTammoGermany

My online info about Tinas Village was exactly what the place was all about. The pick up and return to the airport was great and accurate. The rooms were exactly as expected, everything was clean. The breakfast was fine, not super fancy but better than was we were expected. Not much to do there, sleep, relax and go to where you are planning to go. Everyone working at Tinas was nice to deal with, great experience.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
The property was spotless.
The property was spotless. The ower was suportive and offered the transfer to the international airport because there was taxi industrial action at the time. The appartment was very close to the sandy beach. And you may find a very nice bakery round the corner and many shops. To sum it up I intend to return to this property again while traveling .Guest review byJackson - 6.0
The island is very touristy.
The island is very touristy. The tourists are concentrated in a limited area. There seem to be more tourists than Greeks. The Greeks servicing the tourists seemed to be overwhelmed and many did not appear to be friendly.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting.
This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting. The beaches, although there is some sand, are very stony, and beach shoes are recommended. We went on a boat trip to navigate the island, taking a route that circled the entire island. It was a small boat and we were driving it ourselves. The day was slightly windy, and the sea we didn't realise was quite rough once you moved away from the beach. We only lasted one hour of the four-hour trip booked. It would have been better to have been warned that the sea would be rough, as we would have chosen another day for our trip. There are many boats, including sailing, charter, and private vessels, visiting Poros, making the port very busy. The boats were fascinating to watch. There are numerous excellent tavernas, and they are not expensive. They serve a variety of local dishes, including fresh seafood and traditional Greek cuisine. The boat transfer from Athens takes only one hour, and the ferry operator is very prompt. I recommend a visit to Poros.Guest review bySandraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here. I brought my husband and sons here to introduce them. I loved my stay here meeting up with them again and revisiting all the places I’d been to before and seeing how much things had changed. It’s a beautiful little town with the beach being so close too.Guest review byKathyUnited States - 10.0

We stayed in the very comfortable harbor area of Aegina Town. Just a 40-minute ferry from Athens' Pireaus port. Ancient sites to visit. Lots of harbor restaurants for beverages and dining. A relaxing way to settle in from international travel before our extended tour of Athens and the Peloponnese tour. Would have been a great wind-down stay afterward too.Guest review byPaulUnited States - 10.0
I rented a scooter.
I rented a scooter. Near the Orloff there is a very good bakery to buy a Tyropita to bring to the beaches in case one still wants a snack after the incredibly good breakfast. One of the most beautiful beaches is Agia Paraskevi. Other people go by bicycle or Elettric Bicycle, some walk, some jog. There are incredible places to discover. All choices for dining out according to your taste. I liked traditional Greek food at a tavern called Bouboulina, but I explored a lot.Guest review byOddoneItaly - 10.0

a lovely quiet little villiabge, hugging the coastline with spectacular sunsets and beaches. Plenty of options for food and refreshments, and some shops for holiday essentials. Easy drive to the end of the island (Only really one road) to beautiful beaches with beach bars and loungers and easy parking. Skala has a jetty catering for the various ferries plus visiting yachts. the beach is great for swimming - soft white sand, with no rocks or weeds, shelving very slowly.Guest review byjasonUnited Kingdom
