The hotel was incredibly clean, with comfortable rooms and a wonderful atmosphere. Its location is perfect, right in the center of Arachova. The apartments are of high aesthetics, featuring excellent mattresses and impeccably clean sheets. The staff was polite, friendly, and always willing to help. I will definitely visit again!     The place is so chilling and beautiful. It’s like a beach bar but not on the sea. There are many activities for kids - animals, football, volleyball, swimming pool. Also good food for relatively little money, beautiful landscape. The course itself is very comfortable, clean and beautiful. My kids compared it with a castle.

    A picturesque old town that has maintained its character (unlike nearby places like Itea). There is not a lot to do; a couple of days would suffice for Galaxidi; however, you can use it to explore the area. For example the orqacle of Delphi is 30 mins away. Arachova is not far. Nafpaktos abotu 40 mins away. So Galaxidi is a great place to use as a base. In Galaxidi itself there are plenty of good restaurants and tavernas as well as bars and coffee places. Do not miss a visit to the naval museum; it is worth the time to see the excibits and understand the history of Galaxidi.

    We stayed in Arachova for one night for our visit to Delphi in June. It was a perfect location to stay for a visit to the site. It is a picturesque mountain village with great shopping, restaurants and views.

    It is an excellent place to stay when you want to visit Delphi, but Itea itself has several restaurants and no shopping district or center for water sports. After you eat, you have pretty much seen Itea.

    Nice little village neat Parnassos. It feels like the local businesses are never ready to accommodate visitors in high demand period (Long weekends/ Holidays). However the scenery is really nice and you can surely enjoy your stay if you are looking for peaceful vacation in the mountains.

    Most persons come to Delphi for the day from Athens.

    Most persons come to Delphi for the day from Athens. We stayed over night. The town is small and the restaurant we found was a mom & pop place which added some charm, but after visiting the archaeological site and museum, we could have easily driven to Athens and stayed there, so it depends on one's itinerary as to the need to stay in Delphi overnight.

    We stayed for 2 days Arachova which gave up plenty of time...

    We stayed for 2 days Arachova which gave up plenty of time to visit Delphi and get to know the town. Beautiful views, great restaurants. Be prepared for narrow streets with 2 way traffic and pedestrians all vying for a spot, but by our 3rd week in Greece we realized we just need to pay attention and everyone looks out for one another on the road. Arachova is easy to get around walking. We ate at Το Τσουκάλι and had an incredible experience with the chef suggesting each part of our 4 course locally sourced Greek mountain meal and were treated to a bonus dessert!

    We used Itea as a base to travel to Galaxidi, Delphi, and Arcahova. It’s an attractive little place with sea front cafes/food/bars. They are just lively enough for you to still enjoy the tranquillity of being near sea and mountains. The locals are lovely people and welcome you.

    Great little village with fantastic taverns and friendly atmosphere. Very peaceful place. We have eaten in Stamatis Tavern and we were extremely impressed! I would definately recommend this place as Arachova gets very busy and packed with people.
