Regret we never asked the owners name but he was so friendly and helpful and went out of his way to assist us where possible. The pool was an extremely welcome, and rare addition Great value for money and would highly recommend this place.

TurkeyWe had a wonderful stay in this lovely home in Raches, Ikaria. The house was spotlessly clean and truly one of those rare places where you instantly feel at home. It was incredibly comfortable, and the thoughtful treats left for us were such a kind touch. Although you have to take a short dirt road to get there, it’s absolutely worth it for the stunning sunset views. Highly recommended!

AustraliaLovely apartment with all you need for a very comfortable stay. Some lovely extras included. Thankyou to the hosts who are really making an effort to provide a point of difference. Some food and drinks much appreciated. Bed very comfortable.
Be prepared if walking from port for a bit of a climb, maybe a taxi?

GermanyWe have booked an apartment with pool and gorgeous ocean view. The remote location is fantastic and the next tavernas not to far away (Nas/Armenistis). The host is very polite and offered a great hospitality. She tries to help you to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We can really recommend this apartment. There is even access to a small beach just a few meters away.

Which was extremely helpful as my husband had to work odd hours remotely and there was plenty of room so I wasn't woken. Our two children stayed in a smaller villa, which backed onto ours, (no internal access, it is rented separately). They had combined kitchen bedroom room, and separate bathroom. Daughter slept in the large bed, son was very comfortable on the roomy couch bed. The units were indeed airy. They were calm clean and I felt very very relaxed there. It was easy living. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Bathrooms lovely. Everything was so clean. Kitchens were well kitted out, full stove and fridge. We enjoyed walking down to Christos Raches in the mornings and evenings. I have had some lovely experiences and met some lovely people while staying in Ikaria, but for blissful physical comfort this was my favourite accommodation. Thank you.Guest review byGraceNew Zealand

Evdhilos is a nice small town.
Evdhilos is a nice small town. It offers some basic facilities: some restaurants, cafés and minimarkets. There are also several (4?) car rentals. Armenistis is a lovely place to stay but if you want to see the best parts of the island you really need a car. I didn't have one and felt that I didn't see more than the beach. The seasonal bus had stopped running so I wasn't able to go very far which was quite frustrating.
