The location of the Hotel is near to the city center of the beautiful Afitos. The room was very clean. They where cleaning the room daily. The bed was very comfortable. Before reviewing, I must say that I have read ALL the previous reviews one by one. Yes, I had time to do that, no worries. Some people said “The hotel doesn’t exist”. Yes, it exists! We also had some difficulties on finding it, but at the main street was an advertisement “GREEK PRIDE”. We asked the first branch we found, and correct directions were immediately given. Basic! The staff was amazing, at least we all agreed with it. Particular thanks to my co-native Anna, Thanasis in the restaurant and the Ukrainian girl of the reception. Not excluding the others, but they did the extra mile. The food was very good and tasteful. Obviously it is not an as-cooked-as-at-home like, as they have to cook for a lot of people, preferences and restrictions, but as a buffet it has a lot of varieties. It is not true that they served only one type of meat, or the food was tasteless. If you want an a-la-carte food when it is CLEARLY said that it is a buffet, please book a room only and eat elsewhere. But don’t add it as a negative point where the things are clearly written, but you disagree. Yes, the breakfast can be better, but I didn’t see anyone skipping it, or even more, not PILING the plates in a skyscraper height. So, being negative after the keyboard only because you need to say something is completely useless. People keep saying “Rooms like this, rooms like that” and so on. Apart from the cases “I had booked X room, but not given” (which the hotel needs to organize better and resolve), I really cannot understand what people is expecting. Guys, you paid kinda like 140€/night, on a middle July week, on a beachfront hotel, with a private beach with sun beds on CONSUMPTION, with a free pool, on a place where parking is not a problem nearby. How much you wanted to pay? Or maybe was expecting from the hotel to pay you for the presence? Yes the bathroom was small, I agree, but 5 minutes from there was a hotel for only 400€/night.

    I traveled with my 4-year-old, and as a single mom, it's often tough to balance quality time with my child and finding moments to relax. Here, it worked perfectly. The staff running kids' activities (exploring, creating, and free play) were fantastic, giving me a few worry-free hours each day while she enjoyed fun and safe activities. Afterward, we had plenty to do together—swimming in the perfect sea, hiking, exercising, exploring by boat, and dining. My special love goes to the tennis centre —my only regret was not booking more sessions in advance!

    Excellent peacefully location for a great holiday, Professionals and kind staff, smooth communication and ready to help at every opportunity. Excellent and delicious food, all compliments to the chef! Access to the hotel's beach is a bit challenging, but at the same time it is an interesting experience, hotel pool is a clean and with enough sunbeds around at any time. Great value for money.

    The place is suitable if you are visiting Greece on budget.

    The place is suitable if you are visiting Greece on budget. It is very crowded and it s a nightmare to find a parking spot. We visited few traditional tavernas( Ouzeri Las Pas,Villa Ella ( has live music) and had very tasty greek dishes :tzatziki , Greek salad, fried zuchini, fried white bait, aubergine salad, grilled sardines, stuffed peppers, chicken souvlaki. The prices are reasonable.

    A wonderful place right on the shore of the azure Aegean Sea! Our host Ivan was exceptional – always ready to help with advice or organize a restaurant reservation, yet discreet and unobtrusive enough to make us feel completely independent, just like at home. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a fruit basket – a kind gesture from the host. The cleanliness and order of the place immediately stood out. It is truly an oasis of peace and enjoyment by the sea. The water is crystal clear, and the beach is beautiful, lively, and full of different attractions. Evenings in Kallithea offer a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and clubs where you can have a wonderful time. Thanks to this place and our host Ivan, we had a truly amazing and unforgettable holiday!

    We loved everything about Polychrono. We stayed 3 days total and only wish it had been longer to enjoy our villa more! Waking up every morning and seeing the beautiful lemon, olive and pomegranate trees felt like a dream.

    Afytos is by far the most beautiful place in this part of Greece. Unlike other nearby towns, it carries a unique history and a special vibe that you simply don’t find elsewhere. The distinctive architecture, with its charming mix of stone and wood, gives the village character, while the narrow streets create an authentic atmosphere that feels timeless. Walking through Afytos is like stepping into another world, one that is rich, welcoming, and truly unforgettable.

    Avatel Lodge is the great place to have relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Everything was beautiful and convenient. The room and facilities were clean and nicely set up. We were welcomed by Ms. Yulia, who was so nice, welcoming and helpful, with whatever was needed. Breakfast was great and variety of choices. Nice and cozy walk down to a private beach, with clear water and easy access. Chilling by the pool was also great. Thank you all for welcoming us to your paradise!

    A wonderful place for a family vacation - many families with children, a warm sea with a gentle entrance, and sandy beaches where you can either rent sunbeds with umbrellas or bring your own. The restaurants along the promenade are quite good, although the menu can get a bit repetitive over the course of the holiday - mostly pizza, pasta, risotto, fish, and salads. There are also attractions for children, plenty of souvenir shops, and a supermarket a bit further away, where you can find everything you need.

    Small and quiet village with very good houses.

    Small and quiet village with very good houses. However one thing that we didnt like were the taverns. Pizza and pasta places in Greece feels a bit like a joke. The few traditional taverns were a bit overpriced and the food was not that good. Not to mention the fish taverns at the end of the village… quite bad. The only place that i can actually recommend is the gyro place in the beginning of Paliouri.

    Small town with a couple of decent options to eat - 2 fish tavernas, 2 gyros places, 2 patisseries, 1 pizza place and 2 beach bars. By car, 15-30min away you can find more options in the neighbouring villages.

    Sani as a location is nice.

    Sani as a location is nice. The marina is maintained nicely and the area around the hotels is lovely. The area is one of the most expensive places in Chalkidhiki. The sea is absolutely lovely, sandy and clean. We went to neighbouring places to eat as we didn’t feel like paying £42 for a plate of risotto.
