Totally new apartment with all amenities for a comfortable stay. Extra large apartment within walking distance from the centre. You just have to ascend some stairs or even just walk an uphill road of 10’ on foot. Beautiful view from it, and the hosts were very kind and welcoming. They gave us fruit and water and explained everything for the island while they helped us with suitcases etc.

What can I say? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maria's Apartments (off-season, second half of October), the area around the house was quiet (although the school is nearby), with magnificent views around the place, and well-equipped (including the kitchen!). A good value, with Maria's restaurant with tasty home-made meals nearby (Ta Platania). The place has a modest, functional style which suits our taste, we felt welcome. It was even possible to fit in the triple room with a family of four, as there is a sofa in the kitchen/living room. Maria speaks good English and even offered a complimentary pick-up at the ferry and showed us around the neighbourhood. Everything was within walking distance from the house (the port, grocery store, restaurants, ATM, small local beach, local sights - fort etc...). I hope I can come back again one day!

It was really nice staying. The house is actually better than on photos. We felt like we were in our own villa. The house decorating made with love to detail, us for me, it seems like natural greek house with beams, plaster and vintage furniture. In the apartment was everything you need: microwave, cooking surface, condition, teapot, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishes and even fumigator, although there wasn't such mosquitos. In close to the house there is sport ground and free gym. The house staying a little bit far from the city centre, but Vasilis met us near ferry boat and took us and our luggage. Apartment is extremely clean and every day there was cleaning. Nearby house there is a small but cozy beach and owner provide chaise longue and canoe. Our room was located on the ground floor with big terrace with beautiful seaview. Unfortunately, breakfast was not available because of low season, but I think it would be delicious, because there always was nice smell from owners kitchen. Also Vassilis allowed us to check out late, than it should be, and it was very convinient for us, because ferry boat only at 16 00. Thank you for unforgettable time!

Nice and very relaxing, the notion of peak/off peak times is a foreign concept. People are friendly and great food by the water side. Good variety of restaurants that tempt you all the time and the locals are so friendly.

Megisti (Kastellorizo) is an ideal destination for relaxing holidays. The island is a hidden gem; it has crystal clear warm waters, welcoming locals and a tranquility that blows you away!! There are paths that you can take to Palaiokastro (unique place to watch the sunset) or St George of the Mountain, boats (daily cruises) to beaches which are approachable via sea only, and bars which guarantee a funny and enjoyable night!

A beautiful island for a perfect, chilled-out escape.

A beautiful island for a perfect, chilled-out escape. Very welcoming and warmth from the owners and workers of all establishments. We loved the visit to the blue cave and St George's Island and we also loved chilling in the small bay over the other side of the island away from the harbour. We ate a couple of times in the taverna at the top of the big white stairs next to the church. Very delicious traditional Greek cuisine with a lovely chilled vibe.
