Easy access to this location.
Easy access to this location. You can take the ferry to Tasos for 30-40 minutes and 5 euro for a person ticket. The schedule is every 30 minutes and you can make a day trip to the island. There are very nice places to eat in Keramoti - restaurants offer fresh sea food, traditional Greek dishes and drinks. Cafeterias offer nice cold coffee and sweets.Guest review byPetrovaBulgaria - 8.0

Nea Iraklitsa is a nice place, surounded by another great small cities (Nea Peramos and Paliyo) and and amazing beaches. Each day you can visit a new beach. Kavala is also very close, so you can predict some time to visit the city and its attractions during the day and to have a dinner in a nice restorants during the night, combined with a great sea walk.Guest review bySilviyaBulgaria - 10.0
A small village that is not very pretentious.
A small village that is not very pretentious. The central beach is very narrow, but there are two restaurants in front of which there are wonderful sun loungers and good service. We were in front of the Cactus restaurant and were very satisfied.Guest review byHristinaBulgaria - 6.0

Ofrynio Beach is a place under development, with a lot of buildings under constructions. There is a lot of dust everywhere. Still, the beach is really lively and high quality. Then, travelling by car, with an EV, there were NO carwash places around at all and also there is only one slow charging place with two stalls in the whole area.Guest review byAlexRomania - 8.0

It is a Village near to the city of Kavala.
It is a Village near to the city of Kavala. It is very well organised and it has local markets, a park, place for live shows, beach, coffee shops and taverns. The prices there are much cheaper on the entire region of Kavala.Guest review byTsipouchtzoglou - 10.0

It was a good location to see local archaeological and historical sites but also to explore the villages and beaches nearby. I have been here before, and so this trip was focused on physical therapy at the clay baths and relaxing on the beach.Guest review byLily - 10.0

Intimacy, luxury, peace, waves and the beach practically in the yard of the house. Shopping can be done in the first large town, 20 km away, and you can cook everything in the modern equipped kitchen. The terraces of the house where the meal is served are more fabulous than those of any 5-star restaurant. Although the beach is rocky, there are no inconveniences, only benefits because you can swim, dive all day long in the privacy of the house's yard. The hosts are incredible, they offer you their home with such openness, kindness, trust that you feel like a friend and not a tourist.Guest review byDariaAnielaRomania - 10.0
Kavala isn't your usual Greek holiday destination.
Kavala isn't your usual Greek holiday destination. It's a working port and town and not so full of tourists. It has beaches to either side which are very nice. The Fortress and the old town are great to explore with lots of bars and restaurants. A two or three night stay would be long enough. There are some steep walking areas and the traffic is horrendous. It's definitely a hustle and bustle type of place.Guest review byDickinson
