- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 75 reviewsThe staff is friendly, yet professional, helpful and effective. Rooms are located in very nicely built separate houses, with stone walls, wooden floor, Italian shower, high beam supported ceiling, red tile roof, wonderful sea view. Everything has been thought to fit in the typical Mediterranean sea side greek landscape (although there is no direct access to the sea). Food is very good too and the staff strives to satisfy the client's specific requests. The only small improvement I would suggest is for a hotel of this standing to accept the Amex card for payment.Guest review byFrancisFrance

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 203 reviewsLovely property, great views all around. Comfortable rooms with great balcony. A lot of useful details were included, and a thoughtful bottle of white wine was in the fridge. Two stunning beaches are a short walk away on either side, 5min on the main road, and then a foot path for each. Host was very friendly and helpful.Guest review byZoranaUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 232 reviewsSmall but clean and well maintained hotel in traditional style. Breakfasts are not the most varied, but excellent quality. Pleasant and attentive staff. It is necessary to note the good cuisine of the restaurant at the hotel, it is a pity that the kitchen until 17.30. Large terrace in the room overlooking the bay.Guest review byYURIYUkraine

Gythio was phenomenal, a true gem of the Peloponnese!
Gythio was phenomenal, a true gem of the Peloponnese! Everything you need, from high end restaurants to wonderful shops. Very tourist friendly town. Amazing views of the sea from every angle! Saga Fish Restaurant in Gythio is an absolute must for seafood. We were a five minute drive from Gythio. We stayed at Thirides Beach Resort. Highly recommend for all travelers visiting that part of Greece!Guest review byMarinaUnited States - 10

Wandering through the streets of Areopoli in September is an experience that delights the senses and sparks the imagination. The stone-paved lanes, the unusual tower houses, and the unique atmosphere create a blend of charm and history. The tower houses, with their architecture evoking the age of pirates and local skirmishes in the 17th century, provide a palpable sense of connection to the past. There is a layer of mystery and historical intensity to Areopoli and its surroundings, enhancing the atmosphere and making the experience truly unique for visitors. A stroll through Areopoli in September is not just a walk—it’s an invitation to wander through history, taste the local traditions, and lose yourself in an atmosphere that stimulates both imagination and the soul.Guest review byDimtriGreece - 10
The spelling is Kardamyli.
The spelling is Kardamyli. Lovely small seaside village not spoiled by large high rise hotels. The pretty old town is just up a hill and there is also a section with hotels, bars and restaurants around the harbor. Well worth a visit.Guest review byMaartenNetherlands - 10

We loved the accommodating beach sidewalk- wide and mostly flat. Cafes and tavernas along the beach in Stoupa made for pleasant beach lounging. Kayak and paddle board rentals were easy, affordable and such a treat for all ages!Guest review byLyndonUnited States - 10
We absolutely loved staying at Eleonis In Limini.
We absolutely loved staying at Eleonis In Limini. Johannes was such a lovely host. The apartment was beautiful and early morning yoga for me on the terrace was perfect. Johannes gave us a digital plan of their favourite places that absolutely made the holiday. No time was wasted looking for interesting places to visit. A perfect holidayGuest review bykateUnited Kingdom - 10

The view from our room was absolutely beautiful. It is a lovely town with plenty of places to eat and drink. Mani Mani was great, as was Akryioli. The beaches were beautiful, my favourite spot to swim was near the point, close to the hotel.Guest review byashleeAustralia - 10
Our drive from Athens was Aprox 5 hrs .
Our drive from Athens was Aprox 5 hrs . We opted to stay one night on the way to Neon Oitilon. (Sarandon hotel) 1.5 hrs from Athens airport. The drive to Neon Oitilon then took aprox 3hrs (Tolled motor way each way ) (12 tolls @€1•95- 2.25 )very good roads until you reach Neon Oitilon .(Typical narrow country roads lead down to the village.) The motorway offers a number of good rest stops . We had a 4 night stay . Neon Oitilon is a small sea side village - nestled between to large escarpments. There are great drives and walks. Spectacular scenery . We had hot days and cool evenings . Light jacket is advised for the cooler evenings and am. (May 2022) Apparently it can get cool in the evenings during the height of the season. The AM soon warmed up . There are some nice villages in the surrounding area : Limeni and Aeropolis are a Aprox 5 and 15 min drive The journey to - Gythio and surrounding areas are aprox a 20 -25 min drive. Here you will find a large selection of nice beaches and restaurants. Spectacular scenery all the way . We tried a few restaurants in all the areas we visited. Our favourite beach place was straw beach followed by Glyfada beach in Gythio. Limeni Village has a good choice of Restaurants and eateries / bars .Guest review byDAVIDUnited Kingdom - 10

A pretty little town with cafes, tavernas and great ice cream/dessert places. Just a couple of souvenir/clothes shops and a well stocked supermarket and a smaller mini market. Also a pharmacy. No beach here but a pretty little marina. We ate at Bistrot Cafe and To Limani and I can recommend them both for great food and amazing value. Staff were really friendly. Also a great looking pizza place which we didn't go to in the end. All in all a lovely little typically Greek town.Guest review byChristinaUnited Kingdom - 10
One of the most charming places I’ve visited in Greece.
One of the most charming places I’ve visited in Greece. A picturesque town with a truly unique vibe. It’s perfect for walking, especially along the beautiful seaside road, where you can relax with a drink and take in the view. There are plenty of small, local shops to explore, and an impressive number of bars and restaurants in a prime waterfront location. The lighthouse is also a lovely spot for sightseeing. The local Mani cuisine is absolutely fantastic. In addition to the classic dishes you'd expect in a Greek taverna, you’ll find regional specialities that really stand out. I highly recommend 90 Moires as a great place to eat.Guest review byNikolaSerbia - 8.0

The town is very pretty and the parking was very easy with a big lot outside the village walkway. We had several good meals and we had excellent lemon sorbet (we get it in each town and this was one of the best). The location was good for exploring the Mani area. One day we headed south and the next we explored north of Arepoli. That made the location excellent for a few days in the area. The town is perched high above the sea. There are great views of the sunset, sea in the distance. But it does mean to go swim you need to drive. The beaches are not far, but they aren't walkable to either.Guest review bySusanUnited States
