Amazing bedroom with a great sea view and an extremely comfortable king size bed. It is exactly as shown in the pictures. Nice breakfast as well and very afordable The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always worried to know if I was enjoying my stay and if I needed anything.     I came to Messina Resort for just two days... a spontaneous “me time” escape from my own role in the hospitality industry. I left wishing I had booked a full week (if I had a full week during peak season) From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome was genuine: Cici at check-in set the tone with a bright smile and smooth process. My room was lovely, clean, comfortable, and calming, with peaceful moments spent on the terrace gazing out at the graceful palm trees. Just what I needed to recharge. The beach was beautiful (note to self: bring those rock-water shoes next time!), the pool absolutely YES, and the food? Delicious. Kudos to the Chef! Every staff interaction came with a smile... Special thanks to Leonidas and Spyros at the bar, Ramona with the Corona (you’re a star!), Xrysanthi at the front office, and Spyros on the phone, whose warmth literally traveled through the line. And then… there was Vasilis, the Operations Manager. I had a minor disappointment regarding a requested service, a small miscommunication, and after receiving one or two unsatisfying replies via Booking.com, I honestly didn’t expect much else. But Vasilis completely turned the situation around. Despite it being high season and his plate clearly full, he took the time not only to personally respond to my message but also to sit down with me, face to face, to talk. Not just about my stay, but about our shared world: hospitality. His openness, professionalism, and thoughtful conversation were the surprise highlight of my stay. It's rare to meet a leader who listens so genuinely and acts with both care and competence. I may have missed the chance for a massage, and next time I’ll definitely go horseback riding, but I’ll gladly return for the smiles of these wonderful people. Because no matter how pretty the pool or how tasty the food, it’s always the people that make a place worth returning to. Thank you all at Messina Resort. See you very soon!

    Kalogria apartments are in the most beautiful location next to a stunning natural beach and shallow water bay, perfect for all ages. The owner makes you very welcome and the restaurant, surrounded by floral borders, serves excellent food. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well equipped.

    Beautiful city center, great places to eat, drink and have fun! The cost at Navarinou str is very nice and close to the city center! There's a wonderful view and sunset at Verga, a beautiful bar called Kastraki, you should definitely visit! Many places to visit and have a daily trip like Pylos, Methoni, Foinikounta, Koroni, Kyparissia to name a few.

    Stoupa is stunning , plenty of restaurants, you can buy basics on the sea front and a large well stocked supermarket on the main road, everyone is super friendly. Taxis are available but hit and miss however the first resturant you come to with the steps will order a taxi for you , I just loved it and going back next year

    One of the best cities we have visitted in Peloponnese, the main reason being the amazing scenic beaches that are located quite close. The main Pylos square beatiful and it takes you back in time with the tall trees and the vibrant atmosphere. You can rent a boat if you know how to drive one, take organised cruises from Pylos or Gialova and visit Methoni, Foinikounta, and other amazing little cities around. Go there, you will not regret it!

    The local Taverna along Artaki bay has excellent traditional food and the best view of the bay and Koroni. We loved to walk through the little streets and steps going up to the castle and monastry with lovely views over Koroni and Zaga beach the other side that you can walk to.

    Majestic with a castle and the crystal blue waters as a backdrop. Methoni is for everyone - it has history, beach, shopping, friendly and welcoming people and amazing food. I highly recommend making a reservation at Castro (a reservation because you will not get a table unless you do) for a delightful cuisine and spectacular view at sunset. You will not regret it. I also recommend the Rex right by the beach. Excellent food. Enjoy!

    Nice town, beaches in close proximity, old Town 5' from the center with amazing view, ancient places around. Also, famous places in less than an hour drive (Voidokoilia Beach, Costa Navarino hotels, Foinikounta, Pylos, etc.). Farming products (one of the world's best olive oil), nice food and relaxing holidays.

    A traditional small town, friendly community with small shops suitable for a relaxed break away. The Namaste Beach Bar was a real find and we spent most days there - the food was great and the staff were friendly. Several restaurants and coffee/bar places to chill out, eat, drink and relax. The best food we ate was along at the end of the town, a modern looking raised restaurant over looking the bay. The staff in the little supermarket in the main square were very helpful and friendly.

    A pretty little town with cafes, tavernas and great ice cream/dessert places. Just a couple of souvenir/clothes shops and a well stocked supermarket and a smaller mini market. Also a pharmacy. No beach here but a pretty little marina. We ate at Bistrot Cafe and To Limani and I can recommend them both for great food and amazing value. Staff were really friendly. Also a great looking pizza place which we didn't go to in the end. All in all a lovely little typically Greek town.
