The hotel was a perfect place for our stay in Poros. Our spacious apartment was well equipped (including fly screens on the windows) and had a nice balcony with sea view. The breakfast was very good (including typical greek products as well as freshly squeezed orange juice). The owner, Alex, was extremely helpful and even brought us a book to the ferry on the day of our departure that we had forgotten at the hotel. In brief, we can only highly recommend this place. P.S. Take an e-bike and go on a tour around the island.

    The hotel location was perfect, right in front of the beach. It's a pleasant 20-minute walk from the main town. I want to thank Theano for being such a fantastic host. We went for a small boat tour on our last day, and she allowed us to extend a late check-out to shower before we took our ferry to Athens.

    The room was very clean and quite. The bathroom newly renovated. New air-conditioning units. Nice balcony. The property is very near Askeli beach, very near to restaurants and cafes. There is a supermarket and a bakery close by. The owner was very helpful and always there to give solutions to any problem.

    Lovely room and view. The staff was very polite and kind and I loved that it looked like a family business. Very tasty breakfast with big variety of goods and the pool was huge and very clean.     Beautiful and lively, lots of restaurants and gorgeous boats. We took the car so we could visit the island, well worth it. Monastery Beach was delightful until mid afternoon when it got crowded. The Monastery was worth a visit. Oasis restaurant was very good, after cocktails on the roof terrace.

    We had choice to go to one of three closest islands near...

    We had choice to go to one of three closest islands near Athens. Aegina is big and the closest to Athens so quite crowded on weekends where Athenians escape from the heat. Hydra is quite beautiful but a bit expensive, no sandy beaches near center and no transport on island except of horses and donkeys (it is charming, though, worth to visit for one day). So the last choice was Poros, with moderate prices, nice beaches, even free municipal bus, and 5 minutes boat ride to the mainland village of Galatas, which also has great restaurants to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine.

    Beautiful easy going and laid back island, the atmosphere in town is magical (especially sunsets) and the natural beaches are amazing. Perfect for couples and families or anyone who is looking to chill and relax (we didn't find much nightlife) Note - you must have a car, it's a game changer
