Really this place felt like a home away from home...so comfortable, easy and laid back. The staff were extremely kind, helpful and friendly and really through through the details of my stay with my son. Thank you to everyone at NOS you are quite a team and a special thank you to Effe, Athena and Dimitri :) Loved our room, the property, dining, views and ease to walk to beaches. We had a car which was nice but it wasn't actually needed.

The location and property were perfect for what we needed. The hotel and rooms are as pictured. A comfortable large light and airy room with a mini fridge and air conditioner. The hotel is across from a wonderful beach. Although it's in a tourist location it was quiet and relaxing, which is exactly what we wanted. a small number of bakeries, cafes, bars and restaurants are all nearby. It's not an overcrowded tourist area. There is a bus service to the main town, however worth hiring a car to explore the island.

Maria and her mom are the warmest, friendliest most helpful hosts! We were greeted with a welcome basket full of goodies, bottles of COLD water and 2 small bottles of wine. She was happy to share loads of information Free private parking (gated villa) The Villa grounds are well maintained. Up on a hill with a gorgeous view of the mountains and so Peaceful. Rooms are modern and updated with full amenities (stove, fridge, cutlery, nespresso coffee maker and pods). Free softdrinks in the garden (replenished daily) Spa like amenities - slippers, robes, great quality linens Location- 10 mins walk downhill/stairs to Chora, close to all restaurants and shops, 2 supermarkets 2 mins walking distance away. less than 10 min drive to ferry port. This property was lovely, the pool area and outdoor living space was especially enjoyable. The house was very comfortable and nicely decorated. There was plenty of dish ware etc. although we didn’t really cook.

- Bed was not two single/twin joined together which was nice. - hosts were extremely hospitable and welcome homemade lemonade provided upon checkin. - room extremely clean. - wifi very fast at all times of the day. - location is right on the water. Only thing closer is a yacht. - multiple restaurants within minutes. - grocery stores within minutes. - tv had a variety of English channels while getting ready for the evening. - wonderful selection of items for snack and drink in room mini bar at very reasonable prices. - free in room coffee daily. - room made up daily. - shower on wall (NOT handheld) :) - desk and veranda table to do that bit of work I required. - hooks at various locations to hang towels / items

The hotel is about 10-12 minutes walking distance from port which we preferred as it was nice and quiet. The hotel was great. It was spacious, clean and a wonderful view of the beach and harbour. The breakfast was wonderful with a good selection. I loved the fresh orange juice and yogurt with fruit salad was incredible With honey. There was a hot selection as well including cereal, cakes, toast etc. Chrysoula the manager went above and beyond providing information. Picking us up from the port and a kind and loving person. The staff that cleaned our room and Katerina that cooked the breakfast were great.

Set in the beautiful Vathi cove and beach this hotel has fabulous views; especially the pool villas draped in bougainvillea. Enormous and stylish pool, great facilities overall. We found the restaurant to be outstanding with champagne (Moet no less) brunch complimentary and exquisite fine dining as well. The tavernas just a 2 minute down the beach are authentic, lovely and delicious.

Amazing location, amazing venue, an incredible staff, which just made it even better. Location was perfect, across from the beach and very close to a few very high quality restaurants. The place was perfect for our stay, and my only regret is that we didn't stay an extra few days. Next time for sure.

Appolonia is a good base to explore the island.

Appolonia is a good base to explore the island. You can take a bus to all the major beaches/towns from here. Appolonia itself is a sweet town with lovely, welcoming people. There are also a number of really nice shops along the main walking street and restaurants. Finally, if you plan to hike around the trails of Sifnos Appolonia is the perfect place to start from.

Melianthos Villas are an oasis -- could not be nicer, cleaner, more welcoming, better appointed. I loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. Great design, pristine rooms, great daily breakfast, amazing views, the nicest hotel manager Demetrius.

Sifnos is a beautiful island.

Sifnos is a beautiful island. We road the buses (public transportation) for two days, very clean and rates were 2 Euros. We then rented a car for two days to see some of the more remote areas. Food is fantastic.

Everything the beaches, restaurants, staff. Our accommodation at lodge narlis was awesome as were staff. No breakfast provided but that didn’t matter lots of restaurants near by for breakfast. Bus service fantastic for Apollonia, Kastro etc lots of day trips and sights to see.

Artemon is just one small village on the island of Sifnos. It's very charming and has a local feel to it with some great restaurants but it's very small so you would ideally explore the rest of the island too - particularly if you have a car!

Sifnos is a beautiful island which is very unspoilt and yet also has an air of sophistication. It has many different spots to visit and the food is absolutely delicious. There are some gorgeous beaches on the island. We would highly recommend visiting!

Perfect and scenic location to explore Sifnos from. Kastro is a beautiful village and you can walk around it enjoying the breathtaking sea view. It also offers excellent restaurant and bar options for every taste!

Faros is a lovely small village with no through road.

Faros is a lovely small village with no through road. It has three beaches within a few monists walk and if you sent off and walk around the big headland, you get another within say half an hour. There is a bar, mini market, a couple fo tavernas ( one better than the other by far) and a posh-isn fish restaurant. There is a bus service but we had a car which was a boon. The island is small so you can get to see other places in very easy timescales. There is huge influx of both Greek and (largely) French tourists in July and August which the locals were both dreading and of course, needing. Best avoid those months if you can.

Apollonia is a lovely town, and a really great base for exploring the island. The views are beautiful, there are great places to eat and drink, as well as shops selling local goods. It’s very close to a village which is full of ceramics workshops, and we loved visiting and meeting some of the potters and buying directly from them. The town is a short drive from pretty much every other place on the island. It has lovely views and is quiet and safe. It was my first time visiting and I’ll definitely return in future, Sifnos is my favourite Greek island that I’ve visited so far.

Vathi is is a beautiful place to spend some time relaxing. The Thymari Villas are spotlessly clean - cleaned every day by staff - every possible item is there: AC, overhead fan, well stocked kitchenette, comfortable furniture and space outside to enjoy a wonderful view over the harbour. Margarita couldn't be more helpful. It wold be difficult to beat this place for a stay
