Staff was super friendly and so welcoming. We were treated like VIP's from the time we arrived. The facilities were great , we enjoyed the heated pool and massages to. The hotel arranged our transfers as well. I cannot describe what a wonderful time we had there, the kids enjoyed the entertainment every evening, the rooms were spotless and cleaned really well each day . I definitely recommend Andrija ! It was one of the best holidays I've had thus far. Thank you to the staff of the hotel for making our trip so memorable and so comfortable. - Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 87 reviewsThis is difficult for me because I switched rooms. The first night I was staying in a seaside room but I couldn't see the sea so when I asked to be switched, the gal at front desk wouldn't believe me and kept insisting that I was in seaside room. Finally, she agreed to switch me to a tiny, tiny room but the VIEW WAS INCREDIBLE so even though the room was much smaller, I didn't care because the view was worth it! The smaller room did not have a tea kettle. The other staff was good, very pleasant.Guest review byLesleyUnited States

Old Town was amazing even though we weren’t able to climb all the steep stairs up to the Old Fort that also offered no shade from the blistering sun (mid-80’s while there). There are plentiful and wonderful restaurant choices and lots and lots of little shops to explore. Taking the boat to visit the three local islands wasn’t worth the money and wish we had gone to Lokrum Island instead. The Funicular/gondola was well worth it.Guest review byMichaelCanada - 10.0

Free local parking. Everywhere accessible. But parking near the old town can be challenging. Ubers very good value. Particularly liked Rosmarino Restaurant in old town. Delicious food and wine. Fosa in a great location but restaurant is very pricey. Zadar a safe city and people friendly and helpful. Our host family were charming.Guest review byHilaryIreland - 10.0

A small, charming town filled with tourists, restaurants, and shops. I’d recommend spending a day and a half to truly take in the atmosphere and history. Consider hiring a guide or using a quality audio tour for a brief but informative overview.Guest review byAlexandraUnited States - 6.0

Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September. July and August is very hot and a lot off tourists on the beach, and on the streets. A lot of traffic, problem to find parking place. We only walk and stay overnight in Makarska center. Biokovo skywalk is fantasticGuest review bySlobodankaNorway - 10.0

Hvar is beautiful and has enough to be relaxing, or to have fun and excursions if you want them. The recent sound curfew means it is a great place for those not so keen on being kept up by those partying, but there is a lively atmosphere in Hvar Town. The beaches are all pebbly and public, so open to all. Beach shoes are a must, but there are ample sun loungers to rent and the water is crystal clear. There are loads of restaurants and cafes, and no hassling by them trying to get you in, which was refreshing. There is lots to do, the fort is worth the walk, and there are numerous boat trips to the other beautiful islands, there are water sports and an inflatable aqua park too.Guest review byJoUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Šibenik is not just a holiday resort – it has a lot to offer...
Šibenik is not just a holiday resort – it has a lot to offer. It is a city full of spirit. There seemed to be an ongoing music festival, as there was live music every day. The old town is breathtaking: lively, narrow, white-paved streets, ancient houses with bare stone walls, the air filled with the scent of the sea, a busy port, and tourists who are warmly welcomed. There is a city beach, but I recommend leaving Šibenik for swimming – for example, to one of the nearby islands or to smaller beaches outside the inlet. The city is also a great starting point for visiting Krka National Park – we agreed it is the most beautiful place we have ever seen.Guest review byLadislav SedlákCzech Republic - 6.0
Vodice is a very crowded place.
Vodice is a very crowded place. The beach is long but not very wide, so there were many people, and sometimes you couldn’t even find a spot to put your towel. The city center is also not as beautiful as other Croatian cities, such as Poreč, Pula, Omiš, or Zadar. It doesn’t offer much to explore, but there are some nice places to see nearby, such as the islands of Prvić and Murter. We also liked the beach in Rovinj, which has many more facilities. On the beach in Vodice, there is also a nightclub that gets really loud, so it’s not the best option for a holiday with small children.Guest review byNatáliaSlovakia - 10.0
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.Guest review byKrzysztofPoland - 10.0

Liked the laid back, relaxed feel of Cavtat - quite different from usual Spanish resorts. Good selection of restaurants and bars, would say it’s more suited for 30+ but there were lots of families there too. A mix of nationalities. Dubrovnik about 50 mins each way by boat. Smallish selection of shops, liked Croatino the best. Good swimming in the sea. Would recommend for a relaxing break.Guest review byAndreaUnited Kingdom
