The hotel is quite new so all the facilities and bedrooms are nice, super clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful and the location is great also if you want to explore the local town. The hotel looks amazing inside and out, and it is in a great location, just a few meters from the beach. It has pools, sauna, jacuzzi, hairdresser, manicure, massage etc.. great kids play room with lots of toys and entertainment. There was a different event every day, such as water aerobics in the outside pool and face paiting for kids. The hotel is very clean and the staff is polite, friendly and helpful. Room was specious with balcony and great view of the Vodice. Food is great, so many options to choose from and everything is delicious!! Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely be back!!

This is difficult for me because I switched rooms. The first night I was staying in a seaside room but I couldn't see the sea so when I asked to be switched, the gal at front desk wouldn't believe me and kept insisting that I was in seaside room. Finally, she agreed to switch me to a tiny, tiny room but the VIEW WAS INCREDIBLE so even though the room was much smaller, I didn't care because the view was worth it! The smaller room did not have a tea kettle. The other staff was good, very pleasant.

A variety of food was suitable even for most picky people like me and most important we tried other restaurants, but nowhere was better food like in the Hotel. The room was perfectly clean. Old Town was amazing even though we weren’t able to climb all the steep stairs up to the Old Fort that also offered no shade from the blistering sun (mid-80’s while there). There are plentiful and wonderful restaurant choices and lots and lots of little shops to explore. Taking the boat to visit the three local islands wasn’t worth the money and wish we had gone to Lokrum Island instead. The Funicular/gondola was well worth it.

Hvar is beautiful and has enough to be relaxing, or to have fun and excursions if you want them. The recent sound curfew means it is a great place for those not so keen on being kept up by those partying, but there is a lively atmosphere in Hvar Town. The beaches are all pebbly and public, so open to all. Beach shoes are a must, but there are ample sun loungers to rent and the water is crystal clear. There are loads of restaurants and cafes, and no hassling by them trying to get you in, which was refreshing. There is lots to do, the fort is worth the walk, and there are numerous boat trips to the other beautiful islands, there are water sports and an inflatable aqua park too.

Vodice is a very crowded place.

Vodice is a very crowded place. The beach is long but not very wide, so there were many people, and sometimes you couldn’t even find a spot to put your towel. The city center is also not as beautiful as other Croatian cities, such as Poreč, Pula, Omiš, or Zadar. It doesn’t offer much to explore, but there are some nice places to see nearby, such as the islands of Prvić and Murter. We also liked the beach in Rovinj, which has many more facilities. On the beach in Vodice, there is also a nightclub that gets really loud, so it’s not the best option for a holiday with small children.

For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.

For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.

It’s a very classy small town with stunning bays, impressive private boats visiting, plenty of water-sport activities and countless little boats taking people to islands and to/from Dubrovnik. Also plenty of restaurant and bar options. Water was a lovely temperature to swim in (Sept). It is so close to the airport, which is very convenient. We weren’t planning to hire a car but ended up doing so because it was necessary to get to a decent/large supermarket (Lidl). We found the small supermarkets in Cavtat were unsuitable if you’re self-catering (limited choice and pricey). The car meant we could explore more too. We would highly recommend a trip to Molunat. It was stunning, quiet, and take your swimming stuff. Also, Mlini and Sebreno were also beautiful.
