Stomorska is a hidden gem.
Stomorska is a hidden gem. A quant tiny village surrounding the small harbour. It has a fantastic selection of restaurants and the food is outstanding. Would also recommend Beach Bar Africa. We hired a small motor boat and explored the west coast of Brac - down to Milna - lovely to see and swim in the many coves. Just to note that there is no Uber from Rogac - so you need to either take the bus or a taxi from the port.Guest review byNomadZUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Maslinica is not the main town on Solta but definitely the place to be as it is beautiful and everything is within walking distance. There is only one grocery shop which is a bit more expensive than other islands. There are no scooters for hire and taxis come from the next town over. But therein also lies the beauty as Maslinica is not (yet) commercialized and so close to nature with a relaxing atmosphere and well worth the visit!Guest review byCarinvRSouth Africa - 10.0

The apartment house lies in a quiet location slightly away from the center of Nečujam. It is clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. There is also a large grill available. The beach is close, nice and not crowded (August), however, you have to count with 50 vertical meter descent. There is a swimming pool with fresh water available by the beach. Shop "Ribola" is within a walking distance and, in our opinion, it is a better option than larger Studenac in Grohote.Guest review byJanCzech Republic - 10.0

Rogač is a small ferry port on the island of šolta, there are two restaurants one is a caffe/pizzaria the other sells local cuisine and is a little more pricey but amazing food and location. You can also go for drinks in the evening at either place. In the morning there is a small bakery that opens 7-12, there is also a small shop that sells ice creams, drinks and basics. For a larger shop you have to walk up a steep hill to the village of ğrohote. Here you will find to small supermarkets that sell everything you need. It was easy to get around the island using the local bus. Even though the times were limited they worked well for us. And the local taxi company were easy to WhatsApp. They would then pick us up when buses were not at a time we needed. Both methods of transport were very affordable.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Nice old small fisherman's town, good restaurants and some bars, little marina for boats, more like docks. Nice walk around beautiful scenery. Sea witch you could see through. Beautiful little town. Plenty of beaches and fun. Beautiful beaches !Guest review byAles JuricSlovenia - 10.0

It is a quaint secluded little village but has grocery shopping; souvenir and local produce shops; excellent restaurants and bars: restaurants Sampjer and Martinis Marchi are some of the best places to sample local cuisine, especially seafood, with great service and attention. Everything in Maslinica is within a walking distance but Sampjer will provide a free pick up and return service on request. Also, there are electric bikes available for hire to explore the area. It has small marina with visiting boats that provides an extra people watching opportunity. You can hire a boat with or without skipper for your own day trip. Also, on the islands there are tours for wine, olive oil and honey tasing. Don’t miss a shot of grappa at breakfast (!) - apparently, is a local tradition for a medicinal reasons ;) There are a large pebble beach with a lovely bar next to it and lots of access points of the rocks for an excellent wild swimming in pristine water and sunbathing. Bring your water shoes. The water is so clear that the boats appear flying over the azures. Fantastic sunsets with views over nearing desert islands. Beautiful place. We wish we stayed longer.Guest review byOlgaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Beautiful little town full of wonderful beaches.
Beautiful little town full of wonderful beaches. In September most of the tourists are gone so it is peaceful. There is only one store so the prices are expensive. It is better to bring your own food if possible. There is a few restaurants, bars. We mostly ate at Phils Bar on the beach, or cooked our own food.Guest review byMesić - 8.0

Stomorska is a cute village with a reasonable number of restaurants and cafes, but they are busy in the evening and you need to reserve a place in advance. I recommend fish dishes. The beaches are classic pebbly, on one of them there is a pleasant cocktail bar. It is good to have a car and make a trip around the whole island.Guest review byOlgaSlovakia - 10.0

Very nice beach, with few restaurants nearby, crystal water, but pebble beach. The boats are far, so the water is clean. The place is large enough for many persons. There are not places for parking near the beach, there are no showers.Guest review bycamelianadiaRomania
